Denver has a good secondary so it isn't all on Cam, but still… As good as our D is they just can't hold on to a lead. Our D line was suspect af. Brown and Funchess couldn't get open to save their lives. That one catch Funchess had Cam had to needle it in there.

So for today:

When on offense is really fukkin good. KB is a huge upgrade over last year. Dunno why Fun Fun isn't getting more run but he looks pretty good.

Defense is really suspect right now. No pressure and secondary is weak. I'm more worried about the lack of pressure.

Team made some atrocious mistakes and still pulled through pretty big. It's tough to turn it over that poorly and win, let alone win big. Even against bad teams. With time Cam looks unstoppable

Went to the game. There were a some annoying ass 49ers fans around us. Talked **** for all 60 minutes, bring up superbowls and bull**** like that. A ton of the stadium booed Kaepernick. I couldn't care less, personally.

KB and Fun Fun look unstoppable, tbh. There was no pass rush. We won't go very far this year with how the defense is currently looking.

Yeah we definitely NEED a fuking pass rush.

Without one our defense will just be mediocre.

That had to be the worst fuking game we played since 2014. Pathetic

Our offense looked lost. Shula is a ******* and I'm getting sick and tired of referees. Every fuking game these refs are against us.

I told you brahs Gettleman is a ****ing imbecile.

Why the fuk did we draft anither DT? Why the fuk did we cut Norman walk? Why the fuk did we let Steve Smith go? Why the fuk didn't we sign or draft a WR or OT this offseason?

This cheap motherfuker is destroying us.

1-3 what a disgrace. No pass rush, jv secondary. OL is horrible. I'm starting to get pissed at Gettleman. He lets Norman walk only to send a "message" and replaces him with average rookie cbs. Drafts a 3rd string defensive tackle who is now injured instead of drafting a pass rush prospect or Derrick Henry

Bene has been half a**ing ever since training camp started. He was supposed to step up and be a leader to a very young secondary and has turned out to be a negative influence.

Negative influence? Gettleman drafted a bunch of bums. Sanchez and Worley were terrible in college

What difference does it make who he drafted? Bene let the Super Bowl go to his head. He's been out of shape all season and putting forth minimal effort.

Bene didn't even play in the Super Bowl, wtf are you talking about?

This is typical Gettleman move, ****ing idiot doesn't know what he's doing. Overreacting to one game, Bene hasn't even been that bad.

I guess I should have said winning in general instead of SB. Bene has even said himself that he's out of shape. You obviously haven't listened to any of his interviews this year.

Edit: Just to clarify, I'm not saying it was a good move. Also there was a lot of "talk" Friday about how this had a lot to do with Rivera. Gettleman has the final say but if he was being a problem off the field then that might be why he got the axe.

As a long time fan, like many of you, I can just tell this is going to be another one of those years where we go 2-7 and then surge at the end of the year, when it no longer matters. Finish 8-8 right in the middle of the pack, just good enough to save everyone's job and shaft ourselves in the draft yet again. Then we do it all over again. I'm coming to the sad realization that this is just a bad franchise and has been for some time.

But God damnit I can't stop rooting for them.

I'm not giving up yet, if the Chiefs last season can make it to the playoffs after starting 1-5, so can we.

With that said I hate Gettleman

I wouldn't say we are that bad of a franchise as of late honestly.

It's just certain people making dumb decisions which has gotten us to our current situation.

And also,
Inb4 another line during press conference such as

"We know who we can be"

This is mostly what I'm getting at by saying it's a weak franchise. We seem to be more concerned with saving money. I get that the cap has been an issue but how long is that a valid excuse? From what I understand we have tons of cap room. He let Norman go because he wanted the money to sign short long term, and he has been a total ghost this year. This team has so many holes to fill. While cam hasn't been playing well this season his absence has lifted the veil and exposed the shortcomings of this team even further, in my opinion. Can't expect him to be mvp every year, but that's what it's going to take with all the gaps we have. The best years of this teams core are going to slip away if something isn't done.
