It's like a mirror image of what happened the last time we made a SB. Everyone thought we'd be great for years and the bottom fell out.

The problem with the Norman loss wasn't just that we dropped the franchise tag (which I thought was dumb at the time). I'm fine with not giving him the contract he got, but pulling the tag was stupid. The backbreaker was when it was pulled. Sure it freed up a ton of cap room but at a time when everyone was already signed. Cap room only matters if you use it well. So next off season we've got cap room but it doesn't help this year.

I wasn't/am not calling for heads to roll. I'm stating that this team has incredibly visible weaknesses that need to be addressed and our policy of never trading and drafting the best player available regardless of what we actually need is not going to cut it moving forward. Last year was great, it was amazing, but this franchise has NEVER had back to back winning seasons. The current roster is no where near as bad as they are playing right now…but god damnit im just mad.

offense looked good at least…despite all the dropped passes n chit in the first half. Our defense is something else though. Just a catastrophic melt down overall.
