Mularkey to the Jags!!!!!

Can't tell you how happy this makes me. Cam needs consistency and it would have sucked bringing in a new guy, although I really think we need to begin planning for his replacement because one more year like this one and Chud is as good as gone.

let's hope Fisher takes the job there. I can't see Miami settling on a coordinator so Rams might be the last option for Chud..

I have a feeling we end up drafting Coples this year.

I think he's going to fall to us and considering DE is a need he'll likely be the pick.

yup. plus we're def going to lose Dan Connor so we'd need another ILB to go with Beason(not sure how he'd do as a 3-4 ILB either…) as well as another OLB since counting on Thomas Davis to start has bit us in the ass two years in a row.

and outside of Charles Johnson(who doesn't have ideal size for a 3-4 linemen) we'd need two more linemen. as a 4-3 we're already weak and struggling, but at least we have a few good pieces to build on. we'd have to start over from scratch for a 3-4.

Speaking of Coples, don't get me wrong he's an athletic freak, but I just didn't see the production this season that I saw in 2010. I watched every game UNC played this season. I mean I think he had somewhere around the same amount of tackles, and I think he had 4 or 5 less sacks, but I'm talking about when it mattered the most he just disappeared. I remember even the announcers commenting on it a few times. Big third downs when they needed a stop he couldn't apply pressure. I even seen him get taken out a few plays and someone else was brought in, so I'm not sure if it was due to injury or the coaches just wanted to switch it up for a couple of plays.

Now on the other hand, someone who impressed me the most was Zach Brown, one of their linebackers. He was always showing up and around the ball. In their biggest game of the season (bowl game) he had 14 tackles and an interception. He's probably their hardest hitter. He reminds me of Thomas Davis except he's 2 inches taller. Oh, and it was reported he a 4.28 40 yard dash. Just sayin'.

Coples doesn't seem to have a good motor.

Zach Brown is a damn monster.

I doubt Richardson would let Chud interview with a division rival..or he shouldn't at least. I would have made that the stipulation

I know it's a ****ty thing to deny a coordinator a job interview, but considering it's a division rival team that's loaded with potential, I'd be fine if they rejected it. If they rejected interviews for other teams it's a total dick move, but ffs keep him out of the division.

I really wish Kelly had gone to the Bucs. 2 wins every year.

I'm pretty meh about Cam going to the Pro Bowl. Not disappointed but other QBs were better than him. Can't wait to see his improvement next year.

Buccaneers are such cheeky ****s. Won't tell us whether Chud is still a candidate or not. IF he ends up getting hired elsewhere as a HC, we're going to be ****ed because it took so long, all the good OC candidates will be gone.

distinct possibility. 4-3 DE, not sure he is really a 3-4 OLB type

You nailed it with my worries on Coples. I've seen tons of him and saw Peppers at UNC and Carolina. They have a similar mindset it seems. He's certainly got the tools to be very good.

Wish Robert Quinn were an option…
