- Trying too hard to be up to date. Cuck Porn, Vapid SJW leanings, Twink references. It was cringey at best. Maybe as has been pointed out ITT, they were doing it on purpose as a form of Satire but it wasn't landing.
I mean I still enjoyed the season but this season was a 5/10 compared to last seasons 10/10. It was a massive drop off.

- there absolutely is, it's just that the Seven are - mostly - on a whole another level. Remember that Butcher casually fuked up Mesmer in a restroom in S1, they managed to take down Translucent, and as it turns out they only would have needed some nuts against Black Noir, and some adrenaline or w/e they gathered for A Train. They were absolutely out of resources/weapons against BN and had to improvize. Also let's not forget how Frenchie managed to cuck supes on the regular by exploiting their weaknesses, as stated by Mallory in the flashback.
- I do agree that Alastair was underutilized and the Church was a bit of a sudden addition, hope they expand on it. I would like to say that maybe they'll put Deep in charge of it, but I'm afraid he's too much of a potato to pull it off.
- Vought was shown to heavily capitalize on PR, they just went more contemporary this season

They just wanted the kid killing her to be a cool moment. That's all it was. I saw it coming a mile away. It was lazy.

So, basically, Ryan is the Gohan of this series? I'm honestly okay with that, as long as it's well written and the actor improves a bit.
Season 2 wasdefinitelyinferior to Season 1, in nearly all aspects. The ending of the first season was such a huge cliffhanger, making you want more-- while with second season, it was kind of like "oh, meh."

Season 1: 9.7/10
Season 2: 6.5/10
I hope they learn from their mistakes and make the 3rd season as great as the first one was.

Just finished season 2. It wasn't as good as the first but I really liked it. I did find it funny that they picked a very Jewish looking woman to play the nazi although she did a good job acting and didn't make her completely over the top which is what they usually do for nazi characters.

Great video showing all the hints throughout the show regarding the identity of the head popper, very clever writing and directing...
Thinking about this, the poitical subversion in the writing is really well done. They threw the Trump satire in our face, and conservatives were pissed... Then it also portrays the progressive politician as being manipulative piece of chit who is a bad as Homelander. The show essentially saying that both sides of the mainstream political process are deeply corrupt. (Which I agree with.)
