Your post sounds like something a 12 year old say "Crying is for girls!" "I'm a man!"

Incorrect, that is not a way to deal with emotional issues and your past. It's also not going to help talking to people about it - unless they're trained individuals. Even then, that help goes so far.

What helps is:

- really evaluating what happened, why it happened, what it meant and the impact it had on you.
- accept that it happened and it happened in the past.
- actively practice de-stabilizing the turmoil associated with the past. This means focusing on the thoughts, acknowledging what they are and why they are, then releasing them from your mind.
- activelychanging your current, the here and the now, irrespective of what happened in the past. Your past does not determine your current. You can choose to move away from what happened, put it in the grave it belongs and change the now. This is all a mental exercise.
- Once you've got your mind right, your physical actions will follow.

But notice how I said the first step is to really acknowledge what happened and why it happened.

Wrong again.

The only why pain is reinforced is sometimes when you talk to the wrong people - they either disregard you, place doubts in your mind, or confuse you to the point that you stop listening to your thoughts. As mentioned, you must talk to the right people to gain clarity and ultimately, peace.

Agreed a true man acknowledges his emotions and has the ability to persevere in spite of them. No man worth his salt hasn’t dealt with some tough times.
No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

Women will literally make fun of you (to other people) if you express your emotions. They're just hardwired to have some type of masculinity barometer inside their head. Waste of time buying into the "open up!" BS.

If you've got issues, talk to a therapist. You probably don't really need to though, you just need to work harder and stop fapping and drinking to numb the pain.

I’ve never seen a miscer blatantly create a bunch of alts to cloud the board with chit, openly admit it and not get perm’d.

And of all the miscers that get a pass it’s FUKING WINCEL? The biggest baby on here?

Meanwhile good posters like Lethalgunz gets his perm upheld.

I literally have no fuking idea what’s going on around here anymore.

You're damn right which is exactly why beyond the occasional sloot joke, I hardly think about women, dating, etc anymore. And it has helped me a ton. I'm still not productive or where I want to be, but I now know the negativity solves nothing.

Be as tough as an old boot crew.

The trick is not looking like you’re trying to be. I worked with a butcher years ago who was the sidecar man on the bikes at the speedway, got in a major collision and broke heaps of bones. Never once complained about his pain even though some days you could see him carrying it.

Could build or repair anything with the right tools.

That’s the man we should aspire to be.

Thing is that none of that chit matters tho. For most traumatizing things, the how, when, why are completely irrelevant. Your mind wants to obsess over those things in order to find solutions. There are none. If someone murders your loved one or something, you can spend the rest of your life trying to understand why. The ancient way was to retaliate, kill him, and move on. This is the only viable solution. There is no way for you to bring the person you love back by analyzing the killers' motives etc. Trying to understand the motives of other people is an impossible task. Trying to fix the past is equally impossible. What isn't impossible is to just move forward. I've learned to manage automatic negative thoughts by distracting myself. A lot of automatic memories can also be suppressed. It's like when you have a crush, and you force yourself to stop thinking about them and dwelling on their memory. Eventually, what was once a powerful infatuation is reduced to nothing.

It's a cold detached World out there, and by invoking empathetic relations with others you take a risk. They can clown on you, or just ignore it and make you look stupid at a vulnerable moment.

In a World where people get shot in droves every day, I dunno if we can afford to be sad that we don't get to cry on a shoulder. Bottling it up is the wrong way to phrase it.. Just... Deal with it.

As an alpha male you can't cry or show any emotions besides anger. If you cry in public you are a beta male. I tear up from time to time because i'm a loner but never in public. I can't even full on cry anymore for some reason.

srs bro when are you going to see a professional therapist?

Doesn't matter if it's ayahuasca with a shaman in Peru or a Freudian psychiatrist with a bushy beard or a new age holistic horse whisperer or whatever but when the phuck are getting help bro?

Those badass vets that you fantasize about drank themselves to death and beat up their wives to cope, you think that's healthy son?

Crying and talking about your feelings doesn't solve anything. It's always women who encourage that chit. Talking about chit won't change the past or fix anything. It is best to suppress it and move on. You keep that chit bottled up. If you ever show you are weak, people will just attack you and make things worse.

Think about it. Men came back from WW2 and raised families and chit. Their solution was not to fukig cry about it. Ever. It worked. Yeah people get PTSD, etc. The only way you can get past chit is by just refusing to think about it anymore. Every time you remember something, you will recall and re encode all these memories and feelings, and it will reenforce your pain. Honestly, the best way is to never dwell on any kind of negative feelings or memories -- to just brutally suppress them.

It's like those studies saying that venting anger actually makes you more angry. It's obvious that revisiting emotions reencodes them, and now you've just associated a new memory with the past.
Or to stop having most or all of your feelings.
