Didn't say a word about you not agreeing with the future outlook.
In fact its like you didn't even read what I posted and Ignored the example I gave and the reasoning behind it.
Why am I not surprised a person who welch's out on a bet/deal would ignore this as well.
SAD.
On a side note, if you posted a video of you doing 235x2 on strict form overhead press, I'll send you $200 of btc.

Just a bunch of edgelords with a penchant for memes thinking they're being forward thinking for putting their USD into bits of code that 99% have no real world purpose for except buying chit on silk road under the guise that the fed can't trace it back to them. Just lol
Of course the super rich love crypto because it makes it way easier to hide their wealth from the tax man. Chit might have even been invented by the Swiss bank

Take away the FDIC and all the federal laws regarding banking and people would have floor safes full of currency. Any argument for how secure crypto "can" be is beside the point.

Meh. If crypto doesn't pan out, I'm down a couple thousand dollars of expendable income. If it continues to boom, I'm rich bitch.
I already cashed close to my break even point. When it moons again, and it will, I'll cash out the rest of my initial investment and reinvest the extra when it corrects. Lol at ignoring free money

Ten + years in and the only real world use scenario is to speculate on it's respective value in fiat.

Agreed. Looks like its going down to 1k any day now! ******** trying to create its own coin, and countless investment firms attempting to get into crypto. But yes, NO continuity with it at all. Any day now we'll see it die.

I don't even know why we are listening to you and your 500 credit score and debt to income ration that would make R Kelly laugh.

The bottom line is that the current value is based in speculation. It's not at $13k because you can buy drugs online and use it on overstock and a few niche websites. Either the general populous eventually has to adopt it or it's going to die on the vine. Anyone who debates that is kidding themselves. I'm pointing out why I don't believe 95% of people will ever embrace it.

so I haven't sold to any "dumb asses". People buy crypto for many different reasons. Some see it as a store of value, some use it for nefarious things, some use it as an investment vehicle...

i invested a few hundred bucks in bitcoin during the initial boom in 2017. I think this recent rollercoaster ride is just the beginning. HODL ON TO UR BUTTS PPL. there is good chance it'll skyrocket to 20k again, and when that happens i'll be cashing out until further notice of progress. invest a little and don't worry about it. it's the people who dump their life savings into BTC that make the rest of us look insane lol. i'm interested in the long term goal, fall or rise.

It's not one wrong click and your money is gone. Yes if you input the wrong address and dont verify it is possible. Yet its not like one wrong letter or number and its gone... addresses don't work that way.
But yes I do agree that majority of retards are too dumb for it in its current state.

If you don't see the value of sending money to anywhere in the world without a centralized entity, you are delusional.
And this is just one use case. The ways blockchain will transform fintech in areas like prediction markets are innumerable.
If you don't see the potential here, you lack some serious imagination.

This stuff isn't money. Cyber security is basically at the same place actual banking was in the 1800s when Wells Fargo coaches could get robbed by bandits. Except even then, the banks almost always got the money back to the depositors. Oh, and since 1933 the federal govt actually insures losses for individuals.
Society will never adopt this beyond the people already using it.
