"The manlet is a savage beast that knows no moral bound. After falling in disgrace to a manmore, a ravaged manlet would not hesitate to come from behind and land a sucker punch/ swing with a rock to the back of a manmore's head. They are ruthless and you need to spend some more time in the gutter to even begin trying to comprehend what goes on in their minds."

no, panicking is realizing you have no food stock because you've been too busy laughing at people being prepared before you.

There is no reason to be buying 1 years worth of toilet paper, or 4 months of rice. If everyone was just rational and normal nothing would have to change. So you may think you're smart but in fact you're no better than the knee-jerk buyers because your actions are producing the same snowball effect.
This virus is just displaying how embarrassing normal people are, and how manipulative social media is really becoming. We've had statistically worse outbreaks but these days everything has to be a huge drama, a huge draw. People are doing more damage to themselves than the virus ever will. In fact you could probably have it, get over it and not realize what it was.

Prior to this I had heard we had until the end of March. Now it sounds like you have through this Friday.
I believe Trump said this more than once in his speech re:flight coming in from Europe and the scuttlebutt is that the public 1) will be given upsetting news about the virus, 2) will be seeing restriction/quarantine (notice multiple times we are being told to do whatever our local "health authorities" tell us to do), 3) will have reason to be angry at some wealthy people, or alternately will see the wealthy being protected/treated better...sometimes this may be accomplished by news items that someone is "self-isolating".
Again, unverifiable.
Oh, and speculation that Iran and Italy *may* possibly have a mutated/worse version of the virus which could fit with banning flights from Europe. Or it could just be the Chinese have been lying as has been widely suspected.

I thought the toilet paper thing was a joke until I went to the store last night to get some.
I spoke to a doctor the other day and right now they aren't concerned and say it's still a little overhyped.

A lot of people don't seem to realize how big of an impact this is having, and will have.
Multi-million dollar events are being cancelled around the world, and tourism is suffering massively.
More areas around the world will be quarantined, and businesses will either close or cut staff.
Italy in chaos right now. All shops, apart from supermarkets, are closed. They've also suspended Mortgage payments, and are shovelling money into the healthcare system which is struggling.
