I wish there was a version in the middle.

Think about it.

You don't have to live with someone and constantly be around them so you get fed up/annoyed with their chit.

Meet a couple times a week to hang out and have fun

Can focus on life/hobby/workmaxxing

Sexors feels special because you get to miss them for a few days

Basically I really like dating lmao. I understand it would cause a problem when you want to raise kids tho. Both parents would need to be around for that. Oh well :/

Meanwhile, a lot of people are sick of being around their kids/spouses/significant other so much and are growing very resentful.

I know I would be in that situation.

For me it was the opposite. Very relaxed, lots of quality time both with the wife and the kids. And you don‘t have to be around them all the time if the home is big enough.

This. If I'm in a VC, and I'm running to check the bread baking in the oven, it's awesome to pop by where my wife is and just share a quick smile and a wink.

I just feel like more I spend time with someone, more connected I feel. Also the every day stress and hustle just made us more tense.

I don't know with kids though. I mean I'd think the kids be bouncing off the walls by now since they are not in school nor have access to their friends etc. How do parents deal with this?

So if you got through isolation without issues it’s a good sign that your life is healthy. Whereas if something was simmering before isolation it would come out.

its really fukin easy to physically train a child they are weak and slow.

some chit seem easy but actually make your life harder. when you never fold and put away your clothes you can't ever find the shiit you want in the pile. thats how parenting is, you smoke your kids so they fall asleep at 8-8:30

What, do we need male and female dorms now? Too much work.

Might be able to squeeze in a "she shed" for girly time getaways.

Some of us old folks have already started doing that.
Oct 10, 2019 - One study found that 39 percent of adults over 50 who were partnered, but not married, were living apart. This trend, called living apart together (or “LAT”) is on the rise—especially among older adults, according to Laura Funk, an associate professor of sociology at the University of Manitoba.

IDK? Do we wanna include married miscers? Guess they could have his and her's suites.

My son who is in 1st grade would do his home schooling work in the morning while I was working out and the wife was already in her home office. My four year old daughter would play on her own and later be joined by her brother. We have a big outdoor area with a play ground and small pool for the kids to have fun. When they wanted to talk to friends or family we did VC. They learned to be more independent and spend time at home without mom or dad, which is a very good outcome of the whole thing. All in all it has been a positive experience for us.

The novel writer Dean Koontz and his "wife" are like that. They're not married, they're just "roommates" for the tax benefits. They sexor one another but also have no obligation to one another.

and op, You should be old enough to know that most men who are older and single have not been single their entire adult lives. They were married and got divorced. One of the biggest hurdles to overcome in a marriage is a major death in the family (a mother or father) and menopause. This is the moment where a lot of late 40s-early 50 year old men lose their relationship with their wives. Its at this point she start to realize that its all "down hill" from an age stand-point, and coupled with phucked up hormones, starts getting ideas of "spicing" up her life....and by "spicing" I mean one of three things:

1.becoming a nagging bitch that incessantly looks for drama when there is none (becoming a Karen)

2.Going out of her way to "doll" herself up, (wearing unusually whoreish and skimpy clothes or excessive makeup) for no particular reason essentially becoming a cougar searching for validation of her "attractiveness" from younger men and going as far as sleeping with them, and this is despite the man doing everything right. Even if you're the perfect husband, you're old, and of course you want to be with her, you're the father of her kids. She wants to know if she's still "got it" and can still be attractive to other men.

3.wants to start "traveling"

When I see a single male in their 40's and older I feel sorry for them, not because I think they're lonely or that they're losers, but because they had been married and more than likely got judicially raped by the courts when his wife left him.
