I haven't considered suicide in years, and i decided years ago that if i ever considered it again, i'd go here, camp at the top for 1 week, and if i still feel the same, jump off.

Either way i want to go there one day

The inability for many idiots these days to reach out, engage and help people in need is why we have social issues.
I would make a thread trying to educate the young (who are mostly manlets), but I am “access denied on this server” now. How will they learn without me?

Spare a thought for Hillary and Bill Clinton bro.
They've had 50+ of their closest friends and acquaintances commit suicide.
jk'ing aside.
Had one of the mates from the school of infantry back in the day commit suicide 4 days before Christmas a few years ago after he was medically discharged from the Army. Another 'statistic' for VA that nobody cares about.

That attitude is definitely the only one to take up with anyone who is considering self harm. To be entirely honest I don't disagree that sometimes life is not worth living for in limited cases, but at the same time what we have to do is to help the individual fight against it.
People in that state of mind are not the best decision makers, and reinforcing those negative thoughts by supporting that kind of idea is not acceptable. If they are at a point where that decision has to be made, they will make it on their own. But all external forces should focus on helping overcome those urges not amplify them. Obviously this statement is mostly related to mental health, if someone is at end of life moments and in excruciating pain... there are some scenarios where other factors come into play.

But you dont care what this person is going through, you want them to stay alive just because its the “right” thing to say.
People that off themselves usually tried everything in their power to change their situation and simply realize that there is no light at the end of the tunnel.
They just want their pain to stop and see suicide as the only way to end this nightmare called life..and thats completely understandable

i don't know what to make of it lol, if i'm considering suicide, should i care about politics or not?
i never saw it from that lens (i.e. IS THIS POLITICS) and this just makes me feel more awful, i'm seriously contemplating suicide now.
I just wanted to be open about why i've thought about suicide and i get a neg? i'm so sad and tired of this earth. i'm not even accepted on the misc and my personality isn't accepted anywhere.

agreed op, it's a common message, but it needs to be said. I've been low, and I mean real fukin low, and it felt like for a while the only way to rid my mind of this horrible thought process I was going through, was literally to end it all. You have to be strong enough to fight another day, and another one after that, so on and so forth.
People get caught up on this idea that life is supposed to make you happy. That isn't the point of all of this, it never was

I've never understood this sort of criticism. If the person was mentally well, they wouldn't think these thoughts. You might as well say they should have stopped being depressed.

Suicide is a weird one, on one hand its bad and all and can defintely affect those close to them but on another hand some people just hate life and don't get nearly as much fulfillment out of it like others do.

SIMPLY PUT -
- You're going to die anyway one day
- It may get better, it may not..
- So why not just wait and see what happens?
- Dedicate yourself to the self help/therapy route.
Even if you take some small satisfaction from life, it would have been better to live then never live at all.
Stop comparing yourself to others, start valuing the chit that matters. Your fulfilment, your peace.
All that other chit doesn't matter.

Go to a beautiful place with no one around. Clear your mind completely. With a clear mind if you have peace. It's all in the mind.
Going into nature and clearing my mind has stopped me from committing suicide at least 10 times, srs.

Everyone dies, life goes by in a blink of an eye.
If someone wants to avoid old age and choose when they die, I am not going to judge or think badly of them.
It's different if they have young children though, kids have to come first.
