Good one, this was phenomenal.

I'd also add Spotlight and Argo, both best picture winners from several years back. Fantastic writing and acting, great films all around.

Fuark, loved Logan. Haven't been too into the recent marvel movies either, but that's in the running for my favorite. Dunno if I've seen a better movie in theaters since either.

12 Angry Men and Seven Samurai are black and white classics that IMO lived up to the hype.

It's easy to see why Seven Samurai is held up as a highly influential movie. I thought a 3 hour action epic made in 1954 would need discipline to sit through... I was surprised, I loved it.

Avengers: Infinity War lived up to hype too. That movie was epic. I also think EndGame was equally great. Avengers series closed out perfect IMO.

Interstellar.....watching it in theaters was epic, and definitely lived up to the hype. One of those movies that watching it in the theater makes the experience 100x better.

Sicario was also awesome watching in theaters. I don't know if originally it was very hyped up, but I've always been a huge Dennis Villenueve fan, and was hyped to see it, and it def was amazing to watch in theaters especially the border scene.
