Ok. In a previous life I was a knife/sword guy.
I really like Cold Steel products as they are both functional and affordable. And they have a ton of options. They also have testing videos on YouTube to give you an idea of their performance.

Get a nice benchmade just to satisfy the itch and be a safe queen, sebenza or something. The get a cheap flip out flat razor blade exchangeable thing for edc.
Lifts:
Squat: 460x1
Bench: 400x1
Deadlift: 575x1
OHP: 250x2
Weight: 180 lbs.
