imagine still demanding the vaccine passport in order to get more people vaccinated

now that we see how badly the vaccines work, why not just tell people to lose weight so that's already most of the healthcare burden gone? and when i say badly, i mean that even though the vaccine may reduce the chances for transmission and serious symptoms, these places with 90-100% vaccination rate are still doing lockdowns...

i hope at least some of forcevaxxers open their eyes and start questioning if forced 100% vaccination rate is really the solution. for real, iirc 80% of hospitalized covid people were overweight, so how about we start forcing people to lose weight the same way we're being forced to vaxx up?

I'm vaccinated, and my wife is bringing home a covid test for me today. I have a 102 fever and feel like a fat chick is sitting on my chest. I refuse to contribute to the covid numbers tho, so testing at home just so I know to if I should be going into office this week.

1% is obviously unrealistic. Not if close to believable and there must be some caveat in the fine print. Otherwise just insulting to our intelligence.

Gotta keep in mind that countries build out their health care systems based on their population, historical trends, and of course funding

Iceland’s healthcare is largely funded by taxes. Less population = less tax revenue = smaller health care system and capacity. Small countries don’t sit on massive unused capacity or they’d be needlessly bleeding out $$$

It's not pointless, but they are only going to use booster shots for the most vulnerable and have said that their data is showing that herd immunity can't be reached with the vax and that they are going to start easing restrictions.

I think the main point they are getting from Iceland is that it's not just the unvaxxed that are spreading the delta variant.

He already changed his mind for the evening news the same day, saying he was misunderstood, despite the fact that what he was saying was very clearly stated and could not be misunderstood. He definitely got a good speaking to.

For reference the daily cases if the Iceland population was the same as the US would be over 100k, and the amount of people hospitalized would be around 15000. This despite having one of the highest vaccination rates in the world.

so basically the consensus is the vax is good for people at risk as it lowers the negative effects (reduces the death and hospitalization rate), but basically useless and potentially detrimental for everyone else (and potentially the whole of society if it fuks up herd immunity and leads to covid forever)

One Australian cardiologist just came out saying he believes the Delta strain causes blood clotting and that you are at less chance (but still a chance) to get blood clotting if you get the vaccine. He claimed that people with Vax get blood clotting and recover, unvaxxed have higher chance of dying if they get it.

Wonder how much Pfizer and AstraZeneca paid him to make that chit up LMAO. Completely shameless
