You've never really ran before in your life?

Before all this war chit started, living in Saint Petersburg was basically just like living in any other historic Eastern European capital. Really easy access to other nearby nations, great historical tourism. It was honestly a pretty dope set up.

Gonna need to see what's going on when I get back, but I don't anticipate relocation tbh. I travelled a bit during the whole coof 'travel restrictions' LARP and it was mostly horsechit that they were closing down all non-essential travel.

I think it's gonna be a similar story with all these nations 'closing their airspace' to Russia. Seems like I'll just need to fly to Turkey or take a train from Belarus to get back. No that complicated.
fuark, mirin adventuremaxxing. you can work completely remote or something?

also mirin russian sloots in other post. absolutely beatiful. also again, how is slootmaxxing there (not paying, just smashing sloots)?

I think a 30 minute run a couple times a week is the sweet spot. Long enough you’ll have your heart rate and endurance in a good place, but not crazy long where you stop looking athletic/lifterish and start looking like an emaciated cross country guy. If my old was can handle it you should be good

I honestly do the same thing brah. I have a 5K run I map out, I have 10K run I map out, and I have a 15K run I map out and I just alternate between them. Sometimes I'll do the 10K one three times a week, some times I'll do the 15K one twice.

I'm really random about it because my goal is basically just to have good cardio. Normally I throw a lot of swimming and jump rope into the mix too. I have no real structure for what I do for cardio.

Yeah it's exactly that. Remote work I can live where ever I want. Slootmaxxing is pretty easy too tbh, especially if you speak the language.

This is exactly why I try to mix in other forms of cardio, because I am not about the jogger look.

Agreed. I play hoops on Thursdays with the guys at work (whoever they force me back which is coming soon), and a couple times a month will load my ruck with 60-70 lbs of weights and do an hour ruck hike around town.

Yeah I do weighted runs/hikes as well. I think it just adds thiccness to everything because your whole body has to work harder to do the same thing.

It's a great exercise.

No doubt. I’m more broke off after than I am after any run or weight session

-go slow, slower than you think you should
-slowly build up mileage over weeks and months, with one longer run a week

-be very very very patient. get a chest hr rate monitor if you want to be sure you are going slow enough

you build endurance through long slow distance running over a long period of time. you peak it by doing harder workouts for a training block before you want to go for a new PR. But that endurance base is important, and you have to be super patient for it, because the results dont show right away

Check out Couch to 5k.

Also try out the stair machine, you can get a great cardio session on those without all the impact.

Get good shoes! Go to a running store.

OP do what you want, but I highly recommend doing your rear delt flyes face down on an incline bench or on the pec deck machine. (Ded fkn Srs)
