We are in fantasy world, not a reality based on a shred of evidence, but to play along with the story

Person A (Christian)
God: So let's hear it, what selfless acts did you do in your life. How much of a good person were you.
A: Well I did X, Y, and Z, always striving to be a good person.
God: Werent you expecting this interview, in some way or fashion?
A: Yes, I am a Christian, and expected to have to answer to you when I die.
God: So you knew you were getting something out of your good deeds in the end, that you would look better in an interview like this, so those acts werent entirely selfless, were they?
A: I guess not.
God: Not impressed.

Person B (atheist)
God: So let's hear it, what selfless acts did you do, were you a good person?
B: I did X,Y,Z and like to think I led a good life helping others.
God: And you didnt even expect this interview, thought your existence would end with death, and still did your good deeds/were a good person regardless?
B: Yes.
God: You pass the test.

Person C (thoughtful atheist)
God: So let's have it, what good deeds did you do? Did you give back more than you took?
C: Shouldnt you already know this, being omniscient? Why are you even asking me?
God: Not sure tbh. Well play along, what selfless deeds?
C: Do you ask everyone this after death?
God: Yes.
C: Even an embryo that fails to implant in the uterine wall? You ask the embryo what selfless deeds it did? What would that interview even look like?
God: Er...I dunno. Ok let's say I dont interview such an embryo failing to implant. But I interview people like you who lived a life.
C: So what exactly is the cut-off for when you would interview someone, is there some exact age, down to the perhaps the .0000000000000000001 second, that if someone died a unit of plank time before this, you wouldnt interview them, and after, then you would....and how could this not be more or less arbitrary?
God: Well hmmm....how about we just continue with the interview.
C: Without free will, and there is just about zero reason to believe this exists if that concept could even be properly defined, why are you even judging me based on the answers I would give to your question? This would be like interviewing a billiard ball on a table why it went a certain direction after being hit by a cue ball. Do you realize how silly that would be? Humans, including their brains, although very complex matter, are still yet matter in the universe comprised of known atoms, behaving in accordance to physics and chemistry.
God: Hmmm...well er I guess you are right and it doesnt even make sense to judge. Im not even sure what Im doing here then. And if Im omniscient, I should have predicted the conversation would end like this anyway, and yet I still started it....yet here we are. Sigh....lets just end the interview already.

There are books in Heaven that are logging everything that goes on in your life, so God will not ask you, He will tell you. In Rev 20 they open the books and judge every man according to his works. The one book that you want your name in is the Book of Life. if your name is not in the Book of Life then you will be thrown into a Lake of Fire and this despite all of those good deeds you did. You reject His Son and He will reject you for all of eternity. If you confess His Son before men in this world, then Jesus will confess you before His Father.

Luke 9:26 Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.

14 What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Certainly not! 15 For He says to Moses:

“I will have mercy on whom I have mercy,

and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”

16 So then, it does not depend on man’s desire or effort, but on God’s mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display My power in you, and that My name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” 18 Therefore God has mercy on whom He wants to have mercy, and He hardens whom He wants to harden.

19 One of you will say to me, “Then why does God still find fault? For who can resist His will?” 20 But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? Shall what is formed say to Him who formed it, “Why did You make me like this?” 21 Does not the potter have the right to make from the same lump of clay one vessel for special occasions and another for common use?
- Romans 9:14-21
For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

That's not what that says.

Jesus says in the Sermon on the Mount that you must do certain things to go to heaven and what you must do if you make sinful mistakes.

Back then and now Jews will do "good works" like donate to charity in their own name, and Jesus stated that things like that must be done in secret.

Jesus says what we need to do and he never said that humans have no responsibility or are forgiven without them asking and meaning to be forgiven.

I remember hearing a guest on coast to Coast talking about NDEs (near death experiences) and they said that at that point, one is made to experience their negative actions towards others from that other person's perspective.

Imagine how much that would weigh on you and if you came back (ie not die). I'm sure it would change you forever.

For every time you were a jerk and hurt someone, you were made to experience it from their end and feel that pain, sorrow, etc. That could make the most hardened person remorseful.

If there was an omnipotent and divine being and he actually had the gall to havemeexplain myself and go through my laundry list of positive actions and why I deserve to be let into heaven, I'd bitchslap that a$$hole on the spot for the hypocrisy. He's one to talk - being a piece of garbage, lousy god that allowed millions to suffer across time and wasn't actually looking out for anyone at all.

Seriously, if there is a god, I think we can all agree he's having a horrible go at it. Evolution is slow and long. Maybe he's being trained and not doing a good job at all. In 100,000,000 years, he might be replaced. Maybe that's how time works up there.
