That's only if you include blacks and Mexicans. I'm not competing against them, I'm competing against career chads

$200k is higher than most. But whether it is high enough depends how much work and risk you took to get there, also your skills.

I'd take $200k, but I'd not be happy there long if it was tons of work. I'd rather get $20k and not have to work.

Exactly. Rich is wealth, not income. If you land a job that pays $1 million per year, but get fired the next day, are you rich? If you buy a nice house, but work so much you can never enjoy the house, are you rich? Your spouse is. And when she divorces you, the court will order to keep working that job and those house to sustain her at the standard of living she has become accustomed to.

Sounds like a lot, but a third of that will go to taxes, at least.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

$200k in any given year is a lot of money, $200k consistently is a chitton in my world

Most important thing is that every $ above your base expenses just allows you to get further ahead. So if your base expenses are $70k then it takes $71k to be $1k ahead, but you're effectively doubling your ability to get ahead by making $72k. Make extra money, control costs, and your ability to advance just accelerates

If you have 3 people making 50k it's not that much

1 person making 150k will feel richer

I make about 146k and in all genuinely honestly, a good portion goes to taxes, investments, health insurance etc and then you have inflated prices... If someone makes less they probably are barely scrapping by, FJB thats all I'll say

The median household income among White individuals stands at $76,000, reflecting the middle point where half of the White households earn less and half earn more. In a broader economic context, an individual with an annual income of $200,000 surpasses the majority of the population and falls within the top 10% income bracket nationwide. This indicates a significant level of financial achievement and places the individual among the higher echelons of income earners in the country.
