We are only lucky that gorillas are mostly passive/timid towards humans, but if it had to fight it would demolish everything in its path. It would snap your limbs like a pretzel stick. hell, it could very well grab your skin and "de-glove" your entire body like that scene from the Silent Hill movie.

Hell, a chimp is 1.5x stronger than an adult male and it will lay waste to an entire gym full of athletic guys. A Gorilla is on an entirely different tier that we simply cannot compete in raw strength.
