This. Majority of people don't even scratch the surface of excel's capabilities.

OP, turn your mouse upside down and learn to do everything with only the keyboard. You'll mog your coworkers. Same for powerpoint if you're a financecel.

When I was a young officecuck, I was responsible for managing the financial side of inventory which required me to analyze around 800K lines of transactions each month. You can't analyze 800K of lines without knowing the all the formulas in excel.

Yes can refresh the spreadsheet, although depending on exactly what you mean by that there is standard excel functionality for that too. But essentially VBA can do anything, it is a complete programming language with full access to the system it is being run on and yes depending on your excel settings opening an .xlsm file is the same as running "freebtc.exe". Enabling the macros is definitely the same.

It's great, but Google Sheets is free and is sufficient enough tbh - better in some ways too (but not all).
