When I worked at a grocery store back in the 90's, we werent allowed to give any expired food away or eat it ourselves due to potential liability. If a homeless man eats expired food from there and gets sick, it's the store that gets sued.

this. their IQ is 85 so they dont get to be mad at the laws not at the store CEO. They should go protest outside their congressmen's house to get the liability laws changed.

Yeah, we constantly had to toss away the rotisserie chicken, even employees couldn't take it home, or eat it for free before being tossed.

Noone is suggesting 6 figures to work there

Its a retail job, Its at least one step above working in fast food. People use to be able to live off of the wages working at a grocery store, and instead of getting mad at the company, you attack the worker for doing the same thing that people have always done for the past 70+ years in this country?

Not everyone can get a college degree (nor should they if they don't have the ambition), and not everyone can be plumbers and electricians. Someone has to do that work, and it certainly can't be teens because who is going to run the place at 11am on a Wednesday when they should be in school? It will be an adult. An adult that probably has a family and rent or maybe even a mortgage and bills to pay every month.

You're claiming that people were able to live off a job that a sixteen year old could do? And if I'm worked ng a **** job, the last thing I'm gonna do is start a family.
