200 is worth addressing as it is unusual for a presidential candidate to have that much support from members of the opposing party. Also, Those 200 republicans are elected officials and the people that support/voted for those republican politicians are more likely to vote for who they favor as a presidential candidate.

If the polls are as tight as they claim to be the couple thousand republicans that would have voted for trump that instead decide to vote for harris because their favorite GOP politician said so, can be the difference between winning and losing a state.
