UK miscers will know what's up.

Friday or Saturday night's at the park...

First time I ever got pissed was at a park, I started doing Kung Fu forms in front of about 30 mates/school peers. Cringe.

Parents were afraid back then. They were constantly telling us strangers were out to abduct children, and everyone was going to try to get you hooked on drugs, etc, etc. Sadly some of it was true, lots of kids abducted in the 90's it turns out. But they still let you go all over the place unattended because the odds were low.

The difference now is that parents actually get arrested for letting kids ride bikes unattended and so on. It's a ridiculous world.

Thanks, OP.

I really miss the days of BMX'ing with my boys all over my hometown.

Hanging at the mall and video store.

Playing arcade games.

Jordan's were actually cool rather than a huge hype.

The transition from rotary dial phones to "mind blowing" touch tones.

Checking answering machines.

Floppy disk loaded PC games.

Collecting basketball cards.

Enjoying people's company.
"The manlet is a savage beast that knows no moral bound. After falling in disgrace to a manmore, a ravaged manlet would not hesitate to come from behind and land a sucker punch/ swing with a rock to the back of a manmore's head. They are ruthless and you need to spend some more time in the gutter to even begin trying to comprehend what goes on in their minds."

We had most of the modern technology we have now, but without the social media cancer, smartphone addicts, SJWs etc. It was a brilliant time.

Used to walk down to a friend's place and play California Games on his Commodore 64.

Speaking of video games, who used to play arcade machine versions Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat?
