theres a reason the US is the fattest country in the world. You cant be surprised that the majority of people are dad bod status, fat, or worse.
Carb Mal-absorption, no breads, sugary snacks, rice, pasta...live off of 30-40g a day.
Eosinophilic eso****itis, cant ingest dairy or my eso****us closes up

Also many of the people who "don't have enough time" are liars who would rather spend all or most of their free time vegging out in front of the TV.

Being 36, I'm at that age where some people my age (like me) look late 20's and some people legit look like they're 50.
It's insane how lifestyle can change how one ages.

I gained 60 lbs when I was pregnant, horrible pregnancy with medical issues. Was on bedrest for half of it. Thankfully I had the determination to lose most of the weight somewhat quickly, but it wasn't exactly easy. If I were a different kind of person, I'd still be overweight to this day I'm sure. Everyone who's overweight will give you their excuses. In the end, they are just excuses because all you need to do is eat less and move a little more. You don't have to be a gym rat to not be overweight. They kind of have a point though.

I have a 21 year old girl that was telling people I know "I get to rub my body all over him any time I want". Meanwhile, she doesn't have a dad or mom and I'd rather we do that, lol.
I stay fit for work because I need a lot of energy, but it feels good to be in a class by myself and get admiration. I will never give up trying to be as fit as possible.

Also, has anyone had experiences when people in their 40s and above try to shame or humiliate you for being younger?
I've only had it happen to me 3 times, last comment I received was "31 was is still a baby to me" with an air of superiority. Which I responded to with; "It's good to be young", and she nodded sheepishly.
I think it's cope when older people praise being older, as if it's instrinically better. When the reality is that aging decreases natural hormones, and increases susceptibility to diseases (which is why it's important to do things like Lifting, Nutrition, Mobility, and Relaxation exercises to counteract that).
I wish we as a society got behind Regenerative Medicine research.

From what I've seen of 40+ year old women...They snack every phuckin day at work!Every phuckin day they were bringing in cakes, chocolates, etc, to share.
I remember one fat woman repeatedly trying to offer me a cake. "Go on" she kept insisting. I think because she shared an office with me, and didn't want to be sat eating cakes alone.
I honestly came to the conclusion that a lot of women are fat, partially due to their coworker and friends who don't want to eat junk food or drink alcohol alone. Crabs in a bucket.
From what I've read in places like Japan there is a social stigma against being fat, so coworkers and friends wouldn't help someone to become overweight.

Meanwhile she gets take out food every lunch, has at least 2*chocolate bars/packets of crisps/biscuits a day as well as a couple of cans of full sugar coke.
It ain't the thyroid that's the problem, it's the hand to mouth action.
OTOH my kickboxing instructor is near 50, got 2 kids and in ridiculous shape because he never stopped training. When his kids were small he'd get up at 5am to go run, do bagwork, kettlebells, etc. back in for 6, plenty of time to get breakfast sorted for them.

Once you've settled into marriage most guys just think "why bother". And they never had an interest in weightlifting to begin with.

katya, Stacy and Bourbon are always spot on. And are itt. There's a few more good posts. Like srs discussions it's positively refreshing.
You make time for things that matter to you: Like me I'll make time for Watching Brock Lesnar get physical with big sweaty men, playing video games, Miscing, breeding animals etc and etc. If people who are overweight want to live healthier they can make time to do that...they can do that.
Not to self-loath or self deprecate but I speak from experience. I was telling Stacy not too long ago I played football, basketball, lifted and did what I could in my youth because I wanted to be in shape and I do wish I had stayed active not become so sedentary, so I can know the funny side that OP is talking about. I married young to a woman who turned out to not love me and then I became complacent, sedentary and diabetic. Didn't want children right away but she did insist. I gave her that and now am giving her child support. ugh. She married a new man, a man I respect and actually speak pretty highly of but that is because he's very good to my daughter, he's a great man, so great that (100% srs) when my daughter gets married....I'd want him walking her down the isle with me. My ex-wife is cucking him, a bitch to him too, they fight alot my daughter tells me and I feel sorry for the man. She is bossy, she is cunning, and knows how to get what she wants and damn he's going to end up where I am. Can't do nothing about that, but if I wanted to say reverse my diabetes, and lose weight I would make time for it and do it or die trying!

Most people are disgusting blobs that cant take care of themselves
I'm turning 30 in a few months and everyone else my age looks 40+ easily. I look like I'm 25. Maybe younger.
I go to the gym 6 to 7 days a week. I don't eat like a slob like most people. And the BIGGEST thing is I don't drink everyday like everyone else does. Maybe drink once a month socially, if that.
I think alcohol is the #1 thing that causes people to age. So many people drink like crazy through their 20s and 30s. Look how many people go downhill in college after binge drinking their entire 4 years.
Wanna know why Trump looks good for his age and has so much energy? Cuz he never drank alcohol.
Alcohol is a literal toxin and nearly most of Americans are alcoholics (need a drink every single day)

Obviously they aren't a perfect study but when you are 30+ pounds over and don't work out..... We had free health screenings at work and out of close to 60 people, I think there were maybe half a dozen that didn't have weight, cholesterol, or blood pressure problems. Also, the 4 nurses that administered the screenings were all REALLY heavy.

I'm turning 30 yet it literally felt like I turned 21 a couple years ago. Time keeps going faster as I get older I can't imagine how my 30's will fly by. Kinda scary to think about how short life is.
