So basically if something goes wrong with your Tesla you’re stuck waiting 5-6 months for a part or longer.

Electric cars are a scam until we can produce clean energy on a world wide scale. Several studies have shown that the production and life time running and disposing of an electric vehicle is actually worse for the environment than a modern gasoline engine. In fact, all these "green" energy initiatives (look at wind farms) actually end up burning more fossil fuels in their construction, maintenance and disposal then they will ever save during their lifetime. Its definitely on the right track but we are nowhere near "clean" energy.

Have you seen the most recent Richard Hammond crash in that electric supercar? The thing literally burnt itself to a crisp thanks to the power cells. No thanks. Inbox me when electric cars can go 500 miles on a 12 hour charge, hold their charge for 50,000 cycles and don't cost an arm and a leg compared to a more fun petrol car

The battery tech is a ways off. Charging is too slow and capacity:weight ratio isn't good enough. There are some carbon micro-structure battery enhancements that might change all of this, but it might be a while before that is perfected.
Eat in a deficit to lose weight.

Instead of expanding with maintenance spaces they actually have to rent a large industrial area just to park cars that are waiting for repairs.
The cars are a joke. State financed bullsh!t.
If you buy a Tesla in Norway you get to freeload on almost everything - you don't have to pay VAT on the car, you don't pay tolls, you don't pay for parking, you don't pay for charging. The whole subsidized system is bullsh!t and even with all that, Tesla can't manage to run a smooth state-finaced operation here in the North.

Summa summarum, Tesla is a joke and so is the Norwegian "save the world" subsidization.

The free everything is state sponsored in Norway. I was not speaking about the Tesla-charger network which has been limited for later Tesla models. (Previously bought models had unlimited charging which has been limited for later models)

Well, Richard Hammond wasn't driving a Tesla, he was driving a Rimac Concept One - which, as stated in the name, is a concept car. It's not marketed, nor approved for mass-production or sale.

Unless you're talking about the actual production of energy, then you're partly right. The very least we can do is cut down on emissions until a viable, renewable energy source is implemented worldwide.
