Didnt do himself any favours when he called that British hero who saved the Thai soccer team from the flooded cave a '****'.
Seriously? How can he be a genius and an immature 12 year old throwing insults like that.

So basically if something goes wrong with your Tesla you’re stuck waiting 5-6 months for a part or longer.

Ya I’ll just wait another 5-10 years they’ll work this out. In the mean time, he should stop doing interviews and trippin on his investors. Not a good look.

And finally:

Electric cars are a scam until we can produce clean energy on a world wide scale. Several studies have shown that the production and life time running and disposing of an electric vehicle is actually worse for the environment than a modern gasoline engine. In fact, all these "green" energy initiatives (look at wind farms) actually end up burning more fossil fuels in their construction, maintenance and disposal then they will ever save during their lifetime. Its definitely on the right track but we are nowhere near "clean" energy.

There's also the slight problem of where would you put these panels? On the sides of the ship?

Lol I love the people saying Tesla is a "failing company."

Gee, I wonder where they heard that false soundbite from. His name starts with a T and ends with rump.

$300 per share Tesla is worth. That's not too bad...

by design. amazon was making money since day 1, but it was more profitable to reinvest and expand. tax writeoffs plus takeovers plus investor funded salaries = windfall.

the difference is, tesla cant deliver the product to begin taking in income, much less grow, etc.

I think battery powered cars are a good 30 years off from being a decent investment tbh.
Have you seen the most recent Richard Hammond crash in that electric supercar? The thing literally burnt itself to a crisp thanks to the power cells. No thanks. Inbox me when electric cars can go 500 miles on a 12 hour charge, hold their charge for 50,000 cycles and don't cost an arm and a leg compared to a more fun petrol car

The battery tech is a ways off. Charging is too slow and capacity:weight ratio isn't good enough. There are some carbon micro-structure battery enhancements that might change all of this, but it might be a while before that is perfected.

He did for cars what Apple did for cell phones.
And just LMAO if you don't think Tesla's patents and infrastructure are worth BILLIONS. As if a company wouldn't swoop in and buy them if they ever needed to sell.

And if you actually researched why Tesla burns through so much money, it's because they heavily re-invest every dime they have into R&D as well as the Gigafactory.

Once Tesla gains footing in their manufacturing process, you better believe they'll be in the black.

And LMAO if you think subsidies are theft. And LMAO if you think sustainability is a scam. You probably think climate change isn't real either.

So tell me again how he's scamming people.

Typical berta boy lmao
Manufacturing a mid-sized EV with an 84-mile range results in about 15 percent more emissions than manufacturing an equivalent gasoline vehicle. For larger, longer-range EVs that travel more than 250 miles per charge, the manufacturing emissions can be as much as 68 percent higher.

These differences change as soon as the cars are driven. EVs are powered by electricity, which is generally a cleaner energy source than gasoline.Battery electric cars make up for their higher manufacturing emissions within eighteen months of driving—shorter range models can offset the extra emissions within 6 months—and continue to outperform gasoline cars until the end of their lives.

Instead of expanding with maintenance spaces they actually have to rent a large industrial area just to park cars that are waiting for repairs.
The cars are a joke. State financed bullsh!t.
If you buy a Tesla in Norway you get to freeload on almost everything - you don't have to pay VAT on the car, you don't pay tolls, you don't pay for parking, you don't pay for charging. The whole subsidized system is bullsh!t and even with all that, Tesla can't manage to run a smooth state-finaced operation here in the North.

Summa summarum, Tesla is a joke and so is the Norwegian "save the world" subsidization.

Look I won't reason with you but that "free everything" is to establish the cars

Tesla does not operate to earn money next year.

They operate to take over (or to put it better: establish) the entire electric automotive market including infrastructure and accessories!

The free everything is state sponsored in Norway. I was not speaking about the Tesla-charger network which has been limited for later Tesla models. (Previously bought models had unlimited charging which has been limited for later models)

Compared to a petrol powered hypercar would the result be the same? No. In which case, Tesla and competitors has a long ways to go.
Come on man, Tesla wastes time and energy programming their cars to do silly dances with the doors opening and closing, how can you take them seriously?

Then why blame tesla on it when Norway decides to use part of the "Anti Climate Change" fund to funnel more electric cars?#

I bet you get that "free erything" for any other electric car aswell

Well, Richard Hammond wasn't driving a Tesla, he was driving a Rimac Concept One - which, as stated in the name, is a concept car. It's not marketed, nor approved for mass-production or sale.

And Tesla is paving the way for renewable-energy transportation. Stop being so closed-minded.

Unless you're talking about the actual production of energy, then you're partly right. The very least we can do is cut down on emissions until a viable, renewable energy source is implemented worldwide.
