Such a dumb question.

Hmm maybe because regardless of how much sleep you get, waking up can suck. If it’s not abused there’s absolutely no evidence of coffee being unhealthy. If you don’t take it late in the day, there’s likewise no evidence it impacts sleep.
There’s a reason why successful professionals drink coffee every morning. It increases productivity.

I used to think the same but it actually tastes fking good. I used to have to load it with sugar and creamer, but as time went on and I tried black it clicked. I still don't understand how tf that happened, but a black cup tastes so fking good now. Any sugar or creamer just ruins it srs

It's delicious and keeps my hands warm. I'm strongly affected by caffeine so I limit myself to one cup a day.

tastes good unless ur a black coffee ******* which i used to be then realized how stupid it was cause that extra 50-75 calories doesn't make a difference if you're physically active and have ur diet in check

coffee addict crew

I limit to 1-2 a day and dont drink it after 2pm. I go all out and buy hnnnggg locally roasted beans, grind to brew, measure all the ratios/brew times every single brew, make 24 hour steeped cold brew, etc..

I also like it because I'm on the intermittent fasting time, and black cold brew is great in the morning and holds me over until I eat at noon.

It has health benefits and makes me more alert. Sure you don't 'need' it - you don't need a lot of **** in life. It's just nice to have.

Because addicts.

In fairness there's no other way to legally stim the corporate drones into actually sitting through traffic and spending days at the office either, so yunno. Trade-off for the necessities of maintaining the state.

Lol pretty much this.

Has a strong effect on me but since I stopped drinking it so I sleep way better, way less stressed but have a much harder time getting up to be a corporate drone. So I have a coke in the morning or something instead.

I drink it because I have a nocturnal baby that won’t sleep. I’m prone to migraine and lack of sleep can trigger them. If I have coffee every day it helps, plus it helps me wake up in the morning when I’m dead tired from a rough night.

Because they don't get enough sleep and require the extra stimulation to make it.

They MAY be addicted.

Personally the laxative effect of my PWO is a bonus not a detriment.

And it's just makes life go round too.

If you're out in the morning, "oh wait i have to stop by dunkin for some coffee".

Or if you're on the road trip, "oh look there's a wawa right there, let's stop so we can use the bathroom. And i need some coffee too".

It just makes sense in life.

Actually thinking about my 3rd cup of the day right now lol

It tastes good and is addictive so like anything addictive people will often over consume it.

Personally I only drink 2 cups a day, caffeine has very little effect on me, I can drink a strong coffee and then fall to sleep 5 mins later in the middle of the day. I just drink it because I like the taste.
