6'1, 188. Goal is either 200 on a slow bulk or 180 on a quick cut. unsure as of now. feel weak AF in the gym after cutting from 205, but felt fat AF at 205.

This is what I currently look like, 6'1, 175 lbs. I gained about 10 lbs. in less than a week after dieting for a mock-prep for the last 7 weeks. I plan on doing my first bodybuilding show next year (Classic Physique). I've been eating out a lot since finishing my diet, but I plan to get back on track by hopefully next week. My plan is lean bulk up to the competition and hopefully I can tighten up a bit more before the show. I shouldn't have too much trouble cutting down if I maintain this condition and work on slowly adding more mass. I look pretty full here from all the carbs lmao

No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

Currently at like 72kg which is 159lb, lifting to attain a mental and physical state suited for a lifelong career in the military. Cutting back on strength abit soon to do more endurance but still trying to hit atleast 85kg by November. Also I'm about 5'10.

if you need someone to chat with, don't hesitate to shoot me a PM.

I kept skipping meals and just didn't care for it, changed once I chose to lift for general health and military lifestyle.

Haven't weighed myself in a year. Last I saw I was 178, I would guess I put on about 5lbs of muscle and no extra fat.

5'11" 200lbs
Don't know what my maxes are because I work out alone and am getting too old for super heavy lifting. Current:
Bench 225 5x5
Squat 315 3x5
Dead 365 3x5
My only goal is ability to do planche pushups at my current weight. I'm a long way off but working hard on it.

5'11" 216. Goal=hold what I got.
My job won't allow for more consistency due to schedule and travel. It was a tough pill to swallow, but I feel pretty good compared to my peers.
This was 6mos ago. winter weight. I am a bit leaner now.

I'm 5'6'' and 148 right now.
I want to reach 143-144 to compete middleweight for BJJ. Uhhh my competition is September 14th and I need to weigh in immediately prematch at 147 in my nogi stuff, so I'm going pretty aggressive cut right now to avoid needing to dehydrate much. 1600 calories a day, 2 hours BJJ + calisthenics + either a long walk or a 30-minute jog before dinner.
I'll likely loosen that up after the tournament, but continue to lose weight, albeit at a slower pace, aiming for 136 or so. That would allow me to compete at lightweight: under 141 while in the gi (which weighs 3 pounds).
So far this year, back-to-back injuries have meant I just haven't been able to focus on an aggressive calorie deficit. I needed to heal. Now, fingers crossed, I'm back at it and can reach the lower weight classes where my strength will become a big advantage.

In the biggest federation, IBJJF, weigh ins are immediately before the match--15 minutes to weigh in and get in the bullpen before we go to the mats. Time to have a drink of water and maybe a handfull of M&Ms.
In other federations, weigh ins may be first thing in the morning or even the night before. Obviously, that makes things very different.

You'd think no one would water cut in a situation like that--with weigh ins right before--but everyone still does! They fight the first round dehydrated, then sip water waiting for the next. The cut isn't as extreme as powerlifters do, though--it's more like 2-4 pounds of water, which is pretty easy. You see a lot of people in sweatsuits jogging around outside the arena before competition starts.
I'm so excited to see more BJJ people around here. You should join Misc BJJ Crew.

5'6" manlet @ 191lbs. I'm trying to cut to 180-185. I bulked to 205 this past spring and it was a bit more dirty than I intended.
