No. You get a standard 10 or 15% if you do your job correctly. If you actually provide amazing service I will tip more. Bartenders don’t do jack so they get 10%. And I don’t tip uber drivers.
Fuk tipping culture. Bartenders pull 70-100K and most of that is untaxed because they don’t declare all of their tips. Why the fuk am I bankrolling that. For everyone else that would say tips are a huge part of making their salary, I say get a better job.

I remember one year I went to lunch with a couple co-workers at a pizza joint. There was a younger girl who was working alone (serving, answering calls, baking). One of the co-workers was nice enough to pay for the lunch. Total was around $20. Peeked at the receipt when leaving and noticed she left a $1.88 tip. Aggravated me a little because I took notice of how much she was doing by herself. I decided to throw another $7 on the table, which was all I had at the time. Probably would of gave more if I could, honestly. In general, I tip at least 20% as long as the service was good.
Do you consider yourself a generous tipper?

I just go with a flat 18% calculated by the credit card machine no matter what the service was like. At places like restaurants, the servers tip out all of the kitchen staff. So I don't want one rude person to screw it up for everyone else.

Plus where I worked, we tipped out busboys because they worked just as hard to clear our tables so we could get more customers in at a faster rate. So the tips didn’t exactly last long in your pockets. It’s just something I’ve always done because I’ve been on the receiving end.

Usually it's a flat rate, 5$. Lol at percentages.
If it's over a 100$, then I'll probably tip 10$

For barber usually around fifty percent, for people I'm never gonna see again a lot less. It's just a way for restaurant owners to underpay employees, it's ****ed up.

0% crew.
No tipping where I live.
If I'm a regular at a place and become familiar with/start liking a server I'll leave a small tip SOMETIMES but workers in service here are covered by their employers. Tipping never feels mandatory and I rarely do it when I go out.

Or if you're too poor to pay a tip then just don't go to places where tipping is standard protocol and STFU about it.

No. 15-18%. I'm only particularly generous if I'm a regular and the service is exceptional. One pub I go to regularly gives me free drinks. In that case, of course I'm going to tip more than 20%.

It's totally worth an extra couple of dollars for lunch to get a special table opened up, or have the waiter prioritize your table. The eurocucks and peasants who dont tip don't appreciate the added value you get from literally almost no extra cost.

I'm alright. The service enhances the experience, so I'm def prone to give more if I'm happy with it. The tip will go down to 5% if I end up with an empty cup though.
