I worked in a hospital with involuntary inpatients once. They mostly seemed like drug addicts and people with no one around to support them.
I'm just wondering what elements seem common. I'm guessing unhealthy families, drugs and poverty come with most.

We were their support system, but some had family and whatever, but family can't help people like this.
The best drug that would work on most was an injection called Invega. It was classic that when it was about to wear off, the games would begin.
However, for many, drugs did nothing as they had brain damage. I proved that on a couple occasions but for poor people, it's hard to get advanced tests and doctors will just keep giving them drugs that do nothing. Drugs don't help brain damaged people.
If you get frontal lobe damage, that could turn you into a perverted dangerous crazy person over night. Drugs can't change it.
Also, you are looking at things backwards. There's no such thing as "drug addicts" and "Homeless people" as most of these types started out normal and then something happened to them, then they lost the ability to function in society. You can't ethically write people off as "homeless" etc unless you know why they are that way.

Seeing carelessness or arrogance frustrates me a lot because of how frivolous people act towards how badly things can go with even one head trauma.

There are a horde of people like that in Philly. It's wild and child abuse to a very terrible problem with people who have those issues.

Also, there's a part of Philly now called "North Liberties" which was a dangerous ghetto with black people throwing bricks at your head, and now it a place with all hot white college girls running around.
People bought up houses for like 1500 bucks, or less, and remade the whole area.
I used to be against it because I thought it was exploitative of poor people, but it reduced crime incredibly in those areas.

Only worsened more by Republican leadership....absolutely brilliant job there boys. Have we hit 275,000 dead yet? I lost count....meanwhile the stock market is doing good even though it has no bearing on the working class stability.

I was actually referring to some people in healthcare who caused serious damage for completely criminal reasons and then acted arrogant about abusing their 'treatment' excuses to deflect responsibility.

I had to visit a client there and was at this dog park and it was a nice mix of different types of people and kids in the park were extremely respectful.
I liked the general environment.
Twenty years ago it was a much different story.

I was cringing about how the media was going crazy about how "brave" and "kind" nurses are. The nurses I have worked with for over 30 years have mostly been very rotten women.
