There are plenty of geniuses in this current bull market, but we'll see who does better through the bear market as well. Women are less motivated by status and achievement and are more likely to invest conservatively and stick to a strategy in all conditions (as a VERY general rule of thumb).

I primarily follow people who give a macro overview when it comes to investing and economics.

Lynn Alden and Rachel (Cryptofinally) give a general overview, Lynn's analysis can be applied to any kind of investing, and Rachel gives a good overview of the crypto market/DEFI.

Cathie generally just talks about stock picks, it seems. What she says IMO has limited applicability. I tend to like big picture perspectives, because the info can be tailored to whatever you are interested in.

I disagree. I dont really care. I think its prob more likely its just a small sample size though

I looked up who spends more and it kinda goes back and forth. Looks like men outspend women by a tiny margin but they also earn about 10k more, so when you accont for earning power women spend more. Also looks like men are more likely to make big purchases while that means women spend more frequently

Ultimately i still find it strange you are a male and arguing against your own self interest; its not like you are just saying women are good at x and x, it is an active comparison

Studies and statistics can easily be skewed to represent any agenda.

Without even reading the study I’m going to guess women take a more measured risk and therefore have a longer time in the market. Where as men take more risk, some make a fortune, a lot lose just as much if not more.

Makes sense. Most guys are way too greedy when it comes to investing.

However I would bet some of the more drastic results stem from selection bias. In my experience a lot more guys invest than girls. The only girls, that do some investing seem to be the ones, who work in that field, and therefore know what they are doing.

Statistics, not even once. There is a gender difference in the distribution of returns, with long tales being predominantly male.

A similar phenomenon is present across multiple fields. On AVERAGE, the women do better - because they are more cautious and conservative. But the BEST will be mostly men due to men's greater risk tolerance. So we hear about these big winners (men) but no one hears about the big losers (which are also mostly men).
