See this is how it actually works;https://www.nebraskamed.com/COVID/do...id-19-vaccines

Here is the pertinent part of the article
"The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requires health care providers to report any serious adverse event (including death) that happens after a COVID-19 vaccination – whether or not the provider thinks there is any link. The CDC says, "Health care providers are required to report to VAERS the following adverse events after COVID-19 vaccination…regardless if the reporter thinks the vaccine caused the AE." AE stands for adverse event and includes death.

That means that if a vaccinated person drowns, gets in a car crash or is struck by lightning, their death must be reported to VAERS as an adverse event. Since we've vaccinated over 223 million people in the United States, many deaths will occur coincidentally after vaccination."

I don't think you even read the part where the 150k deaths are from all vaccines not just covid... I don't understand what all your random screeching is about, but if you are unwilling to accept the facts of the matter then you are choosing to remain willfully ignorant which is exactly what I accused you of in the first place. Again I really don't care if you chose to be vaccinated or not, but just be honest that you aren't doing it from a position of higher knowledge granting you superior decision making. You are one of those people who thinks finding obscure articles on the internet from nameless "researchers" that validate your incorrect assumptions is equal to knowledge.
I haven't claimed any special credentials. And you have mischaracterized VAERS reporting by claiming that accidental/violent deaths are regularly reported to VAERS. Under reporting to VAERS is well established with the conservative estimate being that only 10% to 20% of severe adverse events/deaths are reported.

Nameless "researchers"-

Dr. Robert Malone

Dr. Peter McCullough

Steve Kirsch, businessman and researcher

Geert Vanden Bossche DVM, PhD

And if you are on about Matthew Crawford he is a quant and a professor of statistics who has been applying his knowledge of statistics to data being published about the virus, the various treatments, and the vaccines.

Did you look at the risk ratios and associated confidence intervals? Also note the sample proportions.

The quote you provided is reporting descriptives.

This is from the results:

"Independent risk factors for vaccine hesitancy in May (N = 525,644) included younger age, non-Asian race, < 4 year college degree, living in a more rural county, living in a county with higher Trump vote share in the 2020 election, lack of worry about COVID-19, working outside the home, never intentionally avoiding contact with others, and no past-year flu vaccine."

The paper supports the opposite argument. The authors report that having less than 4 years of post-secondary is a significant predictor of hesitancy.

Dr. Robert Malone ---> claims to have invented MRNA vaccines... but never really invented a single MRNA vaccine. Although he did contribute to the technology behind it.

Dr. Peter McCullough ---> a Cardiologist. I don't see where you cited him? It appears his opinion about teens getting vaccinated is why you put him on your list?

Steve Kirsch, businessman and researcher --> his claim to fame is creating the optical mouse. LOL.

Geert Vanden Bossche DVM, PhD ---> this dude is a fuking Veterinarian.

And if you are on about Matthew Crawford he is a quant and a professor of statistics who has been applying his knowledge of statistics to data being published about the virus, the various treatments, and the vaccines.
I haven't mischaracterized anything. You were trying to pretend that 150k deaths from vaccines all legitimately had something to do with getting vaccinated. I told you that is incorrect because you didn't understand how "vaccine associated deaths" were defined.

I would love to see where you found that estimate that only 10-20% of deaths are reported to Vaers. Hospitals/physicians are required BY LAW to report deaths to VAERs. So you are claiming there are 600k-1.2m deaths not being reported? This sounds like a serious scandal you should probably make sure you post this on st0rmfront.

Its been fun to watch you larp as a medical expert when you very clearly lack any sort of doctorate level education, but I'm not going to entertain your delusions any further. You literally know nothing except the baseless accusations from a couple of easily debunked articles and studies that you misinterpret because you don't understand terms within them. You've made it clear you aren't willing to learn you just want to keep rambling about the misguided opinions of a hand full of people in a country of 360 million. Thankfully its still a free country and you are entitled to your ignorance too so I will leave you be.

So far as I can tell they are equally valid to "deaths from COVID" per CDC guidelines. And specific estimates of fatalities due to vaccination that I have shared have been from *other people* and I generally include a link.

From a Harvard study done prior to the pandemic. There conclusion was that 90% of serious adverse events and deaths post vaccination go unreported. Used to be pretty easy to search for, but not so on Google anymore. The 80% unreported was from a more recent paper.

Doesn’t matter and there’s less PHDs than just high school graduates only. Of course there is a smaller sample portion.

No it doesn’t. You can’t try to dismiss a study then use it to prove a point.

having a PHD and professional degree are more hesitant than bachelors and master degrees according to the study people like you and P51 repeatedly try to dismiss. Period.

The model:

"Data was aggregated by month to evaluate time trends in COVID-19 vaccine uptake and intent. There may have been repeat respondents across months; however, respondents could not be linked longitudinally, so data was treated as repeat cross-sectional surveys. All estimates were generated using survey weights [15]. We calculated percentages of COVID-19 vaccine intent or hesitancy by month, as well as first-last month differences, for the full sample, and by race/ethnicity, education, US region, and county Trump support. We limited the race/ethnicity comparison to adults 18–34 years due to an interaction between race/ethnicity and age (reported below with May data)."

The results:
"The association between hesitancy and education level followed a U-shaped curve with the lowest hesitancy among those with a master’s degree, followed by those with a 4 year college degree, then a professional degree, and a doctorate. The highest hesitancy was among those with ≤high school education or some college (RR = 1.89 [95%CI 1.84, 1.94] and 1.67 [95%CI 1.62, 1.71], respectively, versus a 4 year college degree)."

They don't report an RR for PhD's or professional degrees because there is no statistically significant difference relative to the reference group (4 years of college).

PhD's and professionals are by far the smallest groups, even compared to missing.

JLC is one of the only miscers I really get bothered by. Not because he doesn't agree, but because he seems to actively work against any productive conversation, partly by turning threads into pissing matches that most people don't want to bother reading.

If he can convince others that either you or your argument aren't sound he wins. If he drives people away with his incessant nit-picking he wins.

If he isn't PAID or financially invested in some way then he is just a huge dink.

In this thread there wasn't anything to grapple regarding the video clips [verified factual; public knowledge] so instead he went after my opening statement and drove the conversation in another direction. The false attribution of some connection between me and Pharma is funny. But I suppose it might work toward maligning me rather than any arguments I might present. It does work, my CP has some fun death threats - some take the Misc vry srs.

Who would pay me to question statements that are designed to divide and conquer by inciting a base? I've never suggested anyone get vaccinated. I do question did propaganda though.

Why not stick to facts?

There are plenty of sound reasons to not want to be vaccinated. It's a personal decision.

But, PhD's being some of the most hesitant people regarding vaccines isn't sound or even true.

If the topic of discussion was intended to be about Vioxx, why is the opening post discussing covid vaccines?

I'm not terribly interested or impressed with PHD's. Sure there are some brilliant ones, but there are a lot more timothies.

I guess it happens when people are upset. Every one of these threads turns into personal attacks when opinions stated as facts are questioned. It's unfortunate and yet another example of how politicizing a pandemic has become the foundation for a divide and conquer strategy.

Pretty much how fascism has historically taken root.

What exactly are your credentials? Ive seen you post on a myriad of topics, but never really read your stuff because you seem fringy AF to be brutally honest.

Do you have a degree in finance or medical sciences? Just curious as I would be more inclined to spend the time actually reading your posts (whether we agree or disagree) if I knew the basis of your interest.

Ive worked in healthcare for about 20 years and have a PharmD.

Mostly personal experience and applied interest. I do take interest in a broad variety of topics and I post up stuff that seems important or unusual or just kind of fun. Now and then I deer diary.

- loads of retail experience including big box department stores, books, hardware, and plants
- briefly worked in auto insurance subrogation
- executive admin for multiple VPs at a securities broker-dealer [representative retention, event planning, licensing, training]
- executive admin for the VP of finance at a large non-profit hospital group
- acted as lead on some corporate charity programs
- babushka
- family includes engineers, machinists, RE flippers/sellers, an attorney, and a pharmacist
- older men in my family were unionized factory workers

At the beginning of the pandemic there was a flood of disorganized information from multiple sources and from multiple countries. Could be some of it was intentional disinformation, but if so I wasn't aware. If you read my posts you will see a lot of hedging [if, according to, claimed, etc.], quotes, screenshots, and links. I'm generally not that bent on other peoples' conclusions, just want to put stuff out there and have some kind of conversation.

I post lighter less serious stuff sometimes. I don't spread bad information purposely.
