See this is how it actually works;https://www.nebraskamed.com/COVID/do...id-19-vaccines
Here is the pertinent part of the article
"The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requires health care providers to report any serious adverse event (including death) that happens after a COVID-19 vaccination – whether or not the provider thinks there is any link. The CDC says, "Health care providers are required to report to VAERS the following adverse events after COVID-19 vaccination…regardless if the reporter thinks the vaccine caused the AE." AE stands for adverse event and includes death.
That means that if a vaccinated person drowns, gets in a car crash or is struck by lightning, their death must be reported to VAERS as an adverse event. Since we've vaccinated over 223 million people in the United States, many deaths will occur coincidentally after vaccination."
I don't think you even read the part where the 150k deaths are from all vaccines not just covid... I don't understand what all your random screeching is about, but if you are unwilling to accept the facts of the matter then you are choosing to remain willfully ignorant which is exactly what I accused you of in the first place. Again I really don't care if you chose to be vaccinated or not, but just be honest that you aren't doing it from a position of higher knowledge granting you superior decision making. You are one of those people who thinks finding obscure articles on the internet from nameless "researchers" that validate your incorrect assumptions is equal to knowledge.

Dr. Robert Malone
Dr. Peter McCullough
Steve Kirsch, businessman and researcher

And if you are on about Matthew Crawford he is a quant and a professor of statistics who has been applying his knowledge of statistics to data being published about the virus, the various treatments, and the vaccines.

The quote you provided is reporting descriptives.
This is from the results:
"Independent risk factors for vaccine hesitancy in May (N = 525,644) included younger age, non-Asian race, < 4 year college degree, living in a more rural county, living in a county with higher Trump vote share in the 2020 election, lack of worry about COVID-19, working outside the home, never intentionally avoiding contact with others, and no past-year flu vaccine."
The paper supports the opposite argument. The authors report that having less than 4 years of post-secondary is a significant predictor of hesitancy.

I would love to see where you found that estimate that only 10-20% of deaths are reported to Vaers. Hospitals/physicians are required BY LAW to report deaths to VAERs. So you are claiming there are 600k-1.2m deaths not being reported? This sounds like a serious scandal you should probably make sure you post this on st0rmfront.
Its been fun to watch you larp as a medical expert when you very clearly lack any sort of doctorate level education, but I'm not going to entertain your delusions any further. You literally know nothing except the baseless accusations from a couple of easily debunked articles and studies that you misinterpret because you don't understand terms within them. You've made it clear you aren't willing to learn you just want to keep rambling about the misguided opinions of a hand full of people in a country of 360 million. Thankfully its still a free country and you are entitled to your ignorance too so I will leave you be.

having a PHD and professional degree are more hesitant than bachelors and master degrees according to the study people like you and P51 repeatedly try to dismiss. Period.

"Data was aggregated by month to evaluate time trends in COVID-19 vaccine uptake and intent. There may have been repeat respondents across months; however, respondents could not be linked longitudinally, so data was treated as repeat cross-sectional surveys. All estimates were generated using survey weights [15]. We calculated percentages of COVID-19 vaccine intent or hesitancy by month, as well as first-last month differences, for the full sample, and by race/ethnicity, education, US region, and county Trump support. We limited the race/ethnicity comparison to adults 18–34 years due to an interaction between race/ethnicity and age (reported below with May data)."
The results:
"The association between hesitancy and education level followed a U-shaped curve with the lowest hesitancy among those with a master’s degree, followed by those with a 4 year college degree, then a professional degree, and a doctorate. The highest hesitancy was among those with ≤high school education or some college (RR = 1.89 [95%CI 1.84, 1.94] and 1.67 [95%CI 1.62, 1.71], respectively, versus a 4 year college degree)."

They don't report an RR for PhD's or professional degrees because there is no statistically significant difference relative to the reference group (4 years of college).
PhD's and professionals are by far the smallest groups, even compared to missing.

Sensemaking or sense-making is the process by which people give meaning to their collective experiences. It has been defined as "the ongoing retrospective development of plausible images that rationalize what people are doing" (Weick, Sutcliffe, & Obstfeld, 2005, p. 409).
Misc for all of its flaws seems to be one of the last places where people with very different ideas and views can still converse openly.I'm just another traveler trying to make sense of life and when I find something interesting or amusing I like to share it.
JLC is one of the only miscers I really get bothered by. Not because he doesn't agree, but because he seems to actively work against any productive conversation, partly by turning threads into pissing matches that most people don't want to bother reading.
If he can convince others that either you or your argument aren't sound he wins. If he drives people away with his incessant nit-picking he wins.
If he isn't PAID or financially invested in some way then he is just a huge dink.
In this thread there wasn't anything to grapple regarding the video clips [verified factual; public knowledge] so instead he went after my opening statement and drove the conversation in another direction. Then a couple of others joined in to attack *me* vs. attacking the actual information in the clips.

Who would pay me to question statements that are designed to divide and conquer by inciting a base? I've never suggested anyone get vaccinated. I do question did propaganda though.
Why not stick to facts?
There are plenty of sound reasons to not want to be vaccinated. It's a personal decision.
But, PhD's being some of the most hesitant people regarding vaccines isn't sound or even true.
If the topic of discussion was intended to be about Vioxx, why is the opening post discussing covid vaccines?

We had teammates for projects, and one of my partners in a class had laid out his path intentionally so he would never leave university.
I'm not terribly interested or impressed with PHD's. Sure there are some brilliant ones, but there are a lot more timothies.

Do you have a degree in finance or medical sciences? Just curious as I would be more inclined to spend the time actually reading your posts (whether we agree or disagree) if I knew the basis of your interest.
Ive worked in healthcare for about 20 years and have a PharmD.

At the beginning of the pandemic there was a flood of disorganized information from multiple sources and from multiple countries. Could be some of it was intentional disinformation, but if so I wasn't aware. If you read my posts you will see a lot of hedging [if, according to, claimed, etc.], quotes, screenshots, and links. I'm generally not that bent on other peoples' conclusions, just want to put stuff out there and have some kind of conversation.
I post lighter less serious stuff sometimes. I don't spread bad information purposely.
