Thanks, yes exactly. I know Adlerian is trying to be helpful and I didn't reply to that post as I don't really want to get into an argument over MAOIs. Generally they're only given for treatment resistant depression and to end up on them you normally have to have been on pretty much every other med there is. But they are very effective and the strict dietary restrictions are very overstated. Doctors are also just not educated properly when it comes to this class of drugs and, IMO, they are underused.

BP was the lowest it's ever been when I took that recording but went down to 75mg and it's not as bad now. Thanks for the concerned responses though! Still interested in how anybody thinks I would have faked that, lol.

If your doc isnt aware of how low it is, he/she needs to know. Also you should get to a hospital if it doesnt get better soon. Srs.

Edit: I just noticed how high your HR is. Go to the ER brah. Those are shock vitals.
This. WTF would've at least gave a call to my doc the first time that happened.

Was thinking about that. On your ankle upside down, or something. Wrong body part, not properly on, etc. Never tried to get an inaccurate result so...

It's unlikely they are the only cause.

In addition, the guy is telling us he's fracturing his shins from running so much, so there's more than means the eye.

Don't pretend you can think when you cannot.
He told your dumb ass in the opening post he increased his dosage and had sudden onset of low BP.

If it was from long term running it would be consistent. He told you everything in the opening post, you are the biggest fraudcel on this board. His condition he describes in the OP doesnt even match your wikipedia link and I already explained why.

I didn't know his history with meds.

However, MAOs can almost kill you if you eat some cheese or something like salami, in the right amounts.

The last person I dealt with on MAO was in 1996 when this phone operator I was treating was prescribed them.

She sacrificed her life to take care of her brother who had Down's Syndrome, then he died, and she had no idea what to do with herself, plus being a phone operator was like being a robot to her, she started collecting animals, and then the police arrived and forced her into treatment.

No meds were working for her then the doctor put her on MAOs.

She then purposely started eating the forbidden foods to try to kill herself.

A major thing with her was that she was VERY lonely after her mom died and then her brother too so she had no meaning left in life. Meds are not going to help much with that level of problem.

OP mentioned a lot of running and an injury. Overexercise can be sadness related.

I don't know if OP has something bad that happened to him because real life can defeat meds. It could mean that he needs to stop focusing on looking for meds and instead needs to talk about what is on his mind.

For the operator, I got her involved in group therapy, so she could meet people, and another place to live which helped a little.

Please read the posts again, lol.

The med he's on has a VERY RARE likelihood of dropping your BP that low. However, I correctly guessed that he was running too much, and no one else did, especially not you.

Thats not really something to be bragging about.

Its like bragging that you have very little brake fluid in your car. Way below the recommended levels.

Plus you should fix it with diet before taking drugs. Its a matter of making sure your potassium is 4 times that of your sodium intake. Will bring it down to the proper levels by itself if you stay with it.
