Maybe in certain sectors such as Tech, but there are other sectors such as construction, utilities, manufacturing and service where there are huge labor shortages. What we will see is a major market correction over the next two-three years.

guy around my age at my job (same role as me) acts like this. baffles me, but hey do yo' thang.
he does probably twice the amount of work that i do because he volunteers for every little thing and takes on all of these random projects. seems to frequently work late. one time i logged on at ~8pm on a friday evening because i forgot to fill out my timecard, and he was still showing as available lol. couldn't believe it

if there's layoffs i'll be first to go before him, but honestly i'm not crying about it. hardly get any vacation time, and i've been wanting to do some traveling.

Think of my company like a bellwether for corporate America.

When markets are down down down and there is a persistent recession, shareholders demand action. You really think your wfh plan was safe?

Anyone that bought a home far away from corporate offices to WFHmaxx better have their anus prepped and ready.
Quit reading at corporate. Just lol at slaving away for shareholders.

Renting or owning, either doesn't exclude one from poor financial decisions
