Expecting you to be cool with stupid chit from them at work just because you've agreed to be more than work pals, stuff getting awkard at work if anything goes south in your personal life because you've made your work life into your personal life, etc.

That's just me. People can do whatever they want, and I don't care what they do. I have my reasons for feeling the way I do about it, and I care even less about what other people think of that.

Work on yourself, first. Everything. Be the best version of yourself you can be. Workout, get a decent quality haircut every other week, upgrade your wardrobe if need be. Anyone who says those things aren't important is a dumbass. With all of that comes more self confidence. More women will be attracted, but this will also impact the "bros" in your life. People gravitate toward like-minded people. You don't see slobs that work at Gamestop hanging out with shredded investment bankers. A great example of this is fraternities in college. You had to fit a mold to get in. It's not written anywhere, but the top houses had nothing but young athletic white guys usually with family money. Same as the sororities, young attractive white females. You'd be shocked at some of the families they come from. What doors open from simply fitting the mold. It's not about being fake. It's about competence. Competent people want competent people around them.

That all applies to life outside of college as well. You gotta fit the mold to get into certain social circles. And that all comes back full circle. Your chances are exponentially better when you got your **** together.

Talk to people everywhere you go and do **** you like?

I like live sports, golfing, working out. You can meet new people every time you do something if you want. Just gotta be someone people want in their lives.

In my 20s, I did meetup.com and I found out about a reddit meetup. We had a huge reddit meetup in Phoenix and we all got along so we decided we would meet every second saturday of the month at this really cool bar. Most of my friends are from reddit meetups. I've met all sorts of people doing reddit meetups, lot of good connections.

Also you should see if your state has a hash house harriers group, hashing is a running and drinking game invented by the military way back in the day, they meet at a new bar every week and they setup a chalk trail around the area of the bar and you follow the chalk trail, at halfway point (usually a park nearby the bar) we have coolers of beer. At the end of the hash, we end up back at the bar and we have food and beer for everyone. If you are hashing for the first time, its free. After that, you pay 5-7 dollars per hash (to fund the food and beer).

I know about hashing from redditors, they kinda merged into this super hashing group where we have over 100 people every monday meet at a random bar and we go running and drinking. Also, I want to say, these guys are very sexual. On the chalk trail, there are stop points, where girls gotta flash there boobs for them to continue, or guys flash there dicks. Lol. They are very cool people in my opinion. It's worth looking into hash house harriers for your state.
