I liked the mic muting too, much easier to watch politicians do their thing when they are controlled like that.

Would be nice if we could mute them when needed 25/7/365.

I agree that Hastings was respectable (until recently apparently) - no shame in going to Hastings. But its also not even close to the league of Stanford or Berkeley, or even an USC or UCLA. Its falls squarely in the camp of you don't have to be embarrassed to say you went there, but you definitely aren't going to brag about it to anyone.

But from what I understand, Kamala did go to the prestigious Stanford School of Sucking D and Hawk Tuah.

Interdasting how "not being senile" is suddenly important to libs after making excuses for Potato Joe for four straight years.

That makes Commala laugh bro!

And all fairness I still think it is a tier 2 Respectable place

US news considerably change the way they do law school rankings last year so the new rankings can be very misleading.

I think for top-tier schools what most students look at is your big law percent and your federal Clarkpercent

They are pretty horrid with federal clerkships, but they are still about 28% of the class going to big law.

Which is actually better than some schools in the top 30.

Unless you are a major under performer like Harris, you can still do OK going there.

Not sure if it was mentioned in the thread yet, but Kamala wants to a SEATED debate and she wants to use NOTES. Are you fukin serious?

Earlier Monday, Trump’s campaign argued that when they agreed to the ABC debate with Harris at the top of the ticket, they were agreeing to the same guidelines of the previous debate.

“Enough with the games. We accepted the ABC debate under the exact same terms as the CNN debate,” Trump campaign senior adviser Jason Miller said in a statement. “The Harris camp, after having already agreed to the CNN rules, asked for a seated debate, with notes, and opening statements. We said no changes to the agreed upon rules.”

The question topics don't include what it takes to earn a law degree. They should be " How the hell do you think price controls, which have an eternal history of failure, would be good for the country?"

And if that's true then… yeah, neither he or Commala exactly cover themselves in intellectual glory.

The only people trying to change debate rules have been the left and the right has gone along with it just to get the child to the table.

And this is your logic? That Trump voters are terrified? Lmao.

Imagine believing this person is ready to debate anyone.DNC is trying their best to get out of debating Trump. Comrade Kamala is breaking down under pressure which she has created by not giving a single interview.. Not even with friendly networks. Sort of how DeSantis broke down after he was thrown into limelight.

Why wouldn't she? Trump has impulse control issues to go along with his verbal diarrhea, and with an unmuted mic, the chances of him blurting out something stupid is high.

All you need to do is look back at the train wreck of an interview he had with the black women's panel to see how rapidly Trump can lose it and say something really stupid. And that was only about two weeks ago.

I'd put serious money on him giving a ton of massive negative sound bites if he gets rattled during a debate with a woman (which he will). Guaranteed because the debate is on ABC he will say something bad about the moderators.

When this guy speaks, i listen.

'Can't control himself': Michael Cohen shares 'weird' reason Trump should debate Harris

Donald Trump's fixer-turned-courtroom foe argued Tuesday the former president will debate Vice President Kamala Harris next month because he fears a cardboard cutout.
warned his former boss would likely use the debate to make "ridiculous" falsehoods.

Then Cohen revealed what he described as Trump's "tell."
"When you see the accordion hands start going," Cohen said, "what that means is that he's lying."

Cohen scoffed at the idea that Trump would be well positioned to debate — despite doing nothing to prepare — and echoed Harris campaign taunts that the former president could not be trusted with an unmuted mic.
"He knows that she's going to call him out on every single lie on every single misstatement, and he just doesn't know how to prepare," said Cohen.
"He knows he can't control himself. He says things under his breath."

It's not a coup, this is the way that the politics work," Cohen said. "He's an idiot."
"He's really stuck right now in a very weird situation," said Cohen. "If he doesn't show up, she'll just put a cardboard cut-out of him in his spot and she will talk up to him as if he's there."
