Would riot if Smitty ever left. Beason is unfortunately washed up though. Thomas Davis has been playing great, imo.

I'm also big on Ted Ginn and Josh Norman. Don't want to see either one of them go. Call me crazy with Norman, but I think he was a steal, and is the physical corner the Panthers need, at a deal right now.

I can't help but feel like Carolina is going to get STEAMROLLED by the Giants. Cruz and Nicks are going to absolutely shred the secondary into confetti…and I'm sorry but Carolina cant score. I hope they prove me wrong but i don't think they will.

I'm in Illinois and being a Panthers fan is rough here…the only time I ever get to watch Carolina on TV is Monday/Sunday night (which they almost never get slotted for), and then when they actually do (Giants last year) they get EMBARRASSED on national television, or they play the Eagles and Jon Gruden basically comments on how terrible both teams are the whole time…and he's right.

I wan't the glory days back!!! I still remember listening to the 2003 playoff game vs the Rams in my car and i seriously almost flew it off the road when Smitty scored that 2OT touchdown.

I don't care to quote but whoever said it above had it right…ever since the Delhomme birthday massacre against Arizona, something hasn't been right.

There doesn't need to be an overhaul of the roster, there's plenty of talent on both sides of the ball. But where there's weakness, it's glaring. The secondary and O-line needs to be the biggest focus next year in my opinion. I also don't understand why they re-signed Travelle Wharton and won't even f*cking start him. He's a versatile lineman and could play right guard/right tackle. To bring him in as only depth behind Silatolu is potato. Put in the best players possible. Giving up 4.5 sacks to Mario Williams, pathetic.

Another big problem is Shula's playcalling in the redzone, if we don't score on a long play and get inside the 10, it's most likely going to be a field goal. We kicked 3 field goals last Sunday, 2 of them came off turnovers so we only had like 20-30 yards to go, and still couldn't get it done. If we had scored even 1 TD in those 3 redzone possessions, Buffalo doesn't have a chance to win at the end. Let Cam run the ball out of shotgun like he's always done, he'll get it in the endzone.

Unfortunately our cap is fuked. Even if we do a complete overhaul; pretty sure the cap hits from the cuts would hand cuff us till at least 2015-2016 offseason.

We almost beat Seattle week 1. They just stomped out SF. Dry your eyes brahs.

Lets be real. Eli is going in dry on Panther's secondary.

It's gonna be a shoot out. If we can play solid without any ridiculous turnovers or drive killing penalties then I think we can pull it out.

coming into the season I thought Carolina had potential to have a nasty front 7, how are hey looking ? worries me since the interior of the gints o-line has looked weak 2 weeks into the season and also we need to run the ball to have a chance at winning and the guys inside look to get no push when they try to run granted the backs after Wilson wouldn't be in the league if andre brown were healthy.

It was excellent against Seattle and alright against Buffalo. But their secondary is trash.

I think as of now we're around $119m according to a few sites I googled. A bright side is I believe we entered last year what, at over $15m over the cap? And through cuts, restructures, etc we managed to bring that number down significantly and were able to sign guys. So I bet this year could be the same. Still not the best situation but we're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel regarding Hurney's mistakes.

Our only chance tomorrow is if our front 7 pressures Eli like they did Wilson in week 1. They have to protect that secondary or Eli could easily have 400+ yards passing. If we lose tomorrow may as well go full on tank like Cleveland already has.

Part of me is rooting for an embarrassment so Rivera gets canned during the bye week.

if the front 4 can get the same pressure they have been getting lately, they should have a sack party. Wilson and Manuel are way more mobile than Eli is, which helped them in avoiding the sacks

Rex runs a 3-4 and our personnel are a straight fit for the 4-3. No thanks Jeff

I could see this game going either way..Eli averages like 400 pass yards and we average giving up like 300 per game. So its not like he should torch us anymore than anyone else already has. The good thing is that hes already thrown like 7 interceptions through 2 games so maybe we can make turnovers. Alot of you brahs really hate Rivera and I'm surprised. I admit, hes still yet to prove himself but you have to remember he wasnt handed a silver spoon like say…John Fox getting the broncos with Manning. Rivera started with a rookie QB, one in which ALOT of people (myself included) had some major doubts in. Also remember how ****awful our defense was at that point and now its actually not terrible. During his time here weve made some awsome draft picks. I admit his record is bad and weve lost some hearbreaking close games over the years or two but Im still not sure hes not a good coach.

He's a phucking terrible coach. Everyone knows he's a terrible coach. Theyve lost some heartbreakers? He's 2-15 in 7 point games. Thats like worst of all time. There certainly are issues with personnel and the salary cap that are not his fault. This year aside (too early to tell), the drafting has been terrible overall (we get almost no production aside from the first rounders).

But don't overthink it. Rivera is garbage.
