Never. As long as you are willing to look at it and do something about it, you have not gone too far.

Thanks, I constantly struggle; I feel I fight with myself, the mornings are simple, and the nights.. painful. The worst part for me is I know I'm wasting precious time struggling rather than stopping what I know doesn't benefit me, but it's so intertwined in my life it feels strange and scarily lackluster to be without it. I'm sorry to derail the thread but this thread triggered the thought process, and I need that.

Have good night.

Watch out what goes in your eyes and ears. Negativity will creep in and try to build a nest, and then multiply like rats. Evict negative thoughts and voices. Distance yourself from toxic people.

Find someone who can believe in you and you in them. My amazing wife (no, no pics) has always believed in me even when I didnt believe in me. This is why relationships are important.

You'll make it.

What do women really want? I'm talking about real women, real people. Not money worshiping, high-maintenance fakes. Not immature drama queens. But real women (yes Bartholomew they really exist, but not in clubs or on tinder).

My mom and grama basically raised me (very estranged with dad).
Trust me dudes, I know women.
-Women want to know that a man will believe everything that comes out of her mouth.
-Women want kindness. A strong kindness, not beta begging slobbering fool.
-Women want realism. Honesty. Don't be fake. Being honest is not a license to be an a-hole and cruel with your words.
-Women want conversation/communication. If we could just learn this, 75% of fights would be non existent.

Again, we are talking about real women that do not make money or endless attention their security, or their gods.

You dont have to let people walk on you. Be polite but firm. Those two HAVE TO go hand in hand. One without the other wont work. Plus it exudes confidence.

Then go with that. Learn to say no, politely. And say no again and again. Ity gets easier. Just dont go in the other ditch and become a-hole.

How do you fight insecurity? I always thought I was a kind and nice person, but thinking back to how I treated people (putting others down to look cooler, doing things out of fear, ot the actual kindness of my heart, being a general dick to people, etc...) I realized everything I did, I did it out of insecurity. I mean, I'll give up my seat to an old person, or help someone with a flat tire that's a no brainer, but my day to day interactions tell me I'm not that nice of a person, and I know it stems from me being insecure about something. i just don't know what it is or how to fix it. I mean mug people for no reason sometimes, and also girls can sense this as well. Any insight? Maybe afraid of rejection so don't do nice things the way I should? Ahhh I don't know.

This is actually a very good self-aware insight. You are on the right path. Start by not comparing yourself to anyone else. Compare you to you. Improve on who you are. Celebrate the successes- lift heavier, weight loss, etc. As you see how you are improving it will help you feel more self confident.

And I dont care how handsome/rich/appealing someone else is, that is never an excuse to be mean to someone else. Appreciate what you have. People have had it taken away from them in an instant (car wreck, disease, etc). As you appreciate what you have it will extend to your appreciation of others.
