I think Dwill is better off running power off tackles than up the middle every time. Also I feel like Cam refuses to throw the ball away. He ALWAYS tries to make a play on his legs or stays in the pocket forever and takes a sack. He needs to learn to just throw it away once in a while.

Wait, people are saying bench Cam? lol. If we're going to get rid of him, then get rid of him. But BENCH him? Lmao.

He went into the game tied with manning for lowest ints in the league. He came out 8/10 firing lases all over the field, and the only two incompletions were drops, one being a TD.

Come on now. If we're going to play that game, bench Palmer. He threw 3. Bench Romo, he threw the game losing int. Bench Schaub and Eli. You could go down the list of starting QBs and bench just about all of them besides Manning, Brady, Brees, and Rodgers. All other QBs in the league are expendable.

I really wish people would shut up.

Cam is not the reason we're losing
Statistically , he's had the greatest start of an QB ever.
We FINALLY have a somewhat legit D. The secondary is inconsistent , but our line may be the best in football. Cam's first 2 years our D was pure trash. If we had this D Cam's rookie year , we would of been a playoff team by 1000 miles.
We haven't added to our WR core in literal YEARS. It's Steve and only Steve. Guinn is trying .
Lafail is a #4 on any other team in the league
Gettis didn't pan out. LOL at Edwards.
We have Olsen and Steve and that's IT. Cover those two and the D has zero worries all game. Cam gets coverage sacked like 5 times a game because the scrubs he's throwing to can't get open and Steve is double/triple covered
DeAngelo is the most over rated , shttiest #1 back in the league. OMG he runs for 20 yards once per fuking game. YAYYYY
Please god lets hope Stewart comes back soon and Williams blows out both his knees. D-will = 1st down carry , 2nd and 8/9 EVERY DRIVE

Our play calling is horse shtt. We have a QB that runs like prime Vick and is the size of a LB. Just just ignore it and let Dwill run little gay hb options up the middle. Cam can throw ****ing bullets all day. Did you see the 1st QT of yesterday? Steve drops one and LaFail drops one and there goes his confidence. Remember he's young as shtt. I'm not saying he's the GOAT , he can improve , but he needs help.
Biggest mistake in franchise history other than Kasay wiffing a kick out of bounds in the superbowl , would be letting Cam go.
He's a star. Whens the last time we were on national commercials???

Ron has to go. He can't get this team over the hump. We hired a D coordinator from an unsuccessful team because our old ******* owner doesn't want to pay a legit coach. Fuk Bojangles

lettuce be reality, smith is no longer a #1. at 5'9 he thrived off athletic ability, toughness, and his heart. as soon as any of those traits started to dwindle, so would his success. he's not fast enough anymore to blow by defenders consistently. he can't leap as high as he could before and snag the ball out of the air. he can't even be in on every play… and he's getting little injury tweaks every game when he lands on his back. he's my favorite player.. but father time is real.

ginn is 5'11. blazing speed, but a slot receiver. lafell.. lol.

our #1 receiver is our tight end. and i dont mean the same way it is in New Orleans or how it was with Brady. No. Olsen is our #1 because that's literally all we have. Cam is getting sacked because his receivers can't get open. They can't separate. He USUALLY gets enough time in the pocket.. there's just no one to throw it to.

I honestly don't even understand why there is a discussion or debate at all…Get a coach and a coordinator who know how to PLAY TO THE STRENGTHS OF YOUR TEAM, AND PUT THEM IN A POSITION TO SUCCEED!!!!

Our O-line is hot garbage, what is the solution? RUN IT UP THE GUT or go into a STUPID BUNCH FORMATION where the defense is allowed to stack the box, making it impossible to read coverages and getting our baby receivers no separation. I mean how do you fail to adjust this? Spread the defense out, use the shotgun with your insanely athletic quarterback, giving him room to maneuver.

And what is all this bullchit about the owner only wanting to hire puppet second grade DC's as head coach? Grow a fking DICK and get a man who can WIN GAMES…it's that simple…you own the team why the FK wouldn't you want them to succeed? Jesus christ…

A day after allowing seven sacks in a 22-6 loss to the Cardinals, the Panthers lost left guard Amini Silatolu for the season with a torn ACL, according to Jonathan Jones of the Charlotte Observer.

Carolina should make a move for Gordon…even though he would probably get kicked out of the league the day after we signed him.

don't even care at this point. team will go nowhere with Ron Rivera.

they could literally swap players with the Broncos and Rivera would find a way to lose more than he wins.

that's not to say this team is even half as talented as that one; clearly we're not. just saying what I said before the season started. Ron Rivera is the worst HC in the NFL.

damn ****ing shame because any even half competent coach would have this team at 3-1 with how well the defense has played and our schedule.

not giving up on Cam or any of the players really. I want to see what this team can do under new direction(which won't happen this year because JR is a fuking useless sack of shiit and will wait till the season is over to hire a new HC) before that comes. do still believe the team needs a major overhaul.

if anyone's saying bench/trade Cam, pls go. If he even reaches half his potential he'd be at least as good as Mcnabb.

this is on Rivera and the organization.

1. Fire Rivera (out of a cannon perferablly)
2. Trade for Gordon, AND get a WR in the draft (only the stupid or panthers kool-aid drinkers think smitty doesn't need help and replacing soon)
3. Trade Stewart for anything (something more then kicker would be nice)
4. Let Cam get out of the pocket. Some options, some designed run plays. He is not and never will be a great peyton/brady like pocket passer.
5. Pray that Dwill and Tolbert hold up long enough to fix 1-4 before getting a young healthy non injury riddled Rb.

Thatd be amazing. Could then move smitty to slot since Gordon is major deep threat and no nickel corner or linebacker gonna stop Smitty in slot

I would say it is mostly on Hurney. These articles do a good job of outlining what a complete disaster he was:

I read somewhere that we could have picked Jimmy Graham or Randall Cobb with that pick*.

I mean for real, and I may be guilty of doing this, it is unfair to place the blame of a failure of this magnitude on one or two guys. I hate to sound sensationalist or however you want to put it.. but where we're at today is just a complete, top to bottom disaster. from the ownership, to the front office, to the coaches, to the players.

IMO Rivera is clearly #1 on the list of why a team with a respectable(not elite, or close to it, but respectable) group of players talent wise, can't start a season better than 1-7. Hurney comes in close by locking up the core of a team(and ****ing years of our cap) that ended up picking #1.

I've floated the idea around for the past couple years but the more numb to losing I become the better the idea sounds; complete ****ing overhaul. You saw the Colts do it after Peyton. They scrapped ANY guy that was making too much or didn't fit into a long term plan. Even if they still had a season or two left of good play. They kept Reggie Wayne so Luck wasn't completely alone on offense and they kept their young guys. We could keep Smitty but getting a #1 receiver is as glaring now as it's ever been.

There really aren't that many guys I see as "safe". Top of my head: Cam, Kalil, Kuechly, C.Johnson, Hardy(will need to be resigned), Star, Short, ???? I'd like to keep our front 7 together, and I'm obviously wanting to keep guys that are on affordable rookie deals(such as Norman, Silatulo, etc). Other than that.. what do the other guys provide that can't be filled with a younger UDFA or practice squad cut or what not? At least those guys have potential. We've seen the potential of most of what we have and it's not good.

Am I alone in hoping we gut the team?

dam remember when the NFC south was one of the strongest in football…….now the saints have more then TWICE their divisonal rivals wins COMBINED.

division is 100% the saints and it is not even the start of week 6 yet.

in other news. Can we please fire rivera now? hire lovie smith as a DC and get a offense minded coach that will move cam around and invest in a good WR core.

Panthers looked good today. Our defense is seriously legit, still not sure how we'd handle a team like greenbay or denver with all those goods receivers but damn if we wouldn't try. Our play calling and ability to score points was great today as well. Cam stepped up. Our dbs arent big names but they will step up and make plays and if we can get a lead, with our front 4 mistakes will be made in the secondary.

2nd in the division guise. Next 3 games are very winnable. Could be 5-3 after week 9. I also feel pretty confident in our defense going against teams like 49ers and Patriots. If our offense can keep up what they did today on a consistent basis, I have no doubt we can make the playoffs. It's all on Rivera and Shula though.
