Heads up to all my Panthers brahs, TNF games are streamed on NFL.com.

We're rollin! Now time to prepare for another big division game next week.

EDIT: CJ went down with a groin sprain. Praying it isn't bad.

Damn, groin injuries can be a pain in the ass. Happened in garbage time too. Alexander and Addison are capable of getting the job done for a couple weeks if he has to heal up though.

Fukkin Thursday night games, in Vegas this weekend and checked the lines last night. Panthers looked like the easiest money as 6 to 6.5 point favorites then I realized they were the early game. Fuuuuuuu. Good win though brahs.

I mean, come on, I barely went to class, and they passed me. It's Arizona [expletive] State!" - Terrell Suggs

Or maybe Josh Gordon…but I think he has a less of a chance to be traded.
No, and no, and no for me bro.

I like that he is being more aggressive on fourth down, although the punt on 4th and 4, from the 42 yard line mystified me a bit.

At the end of the half with about a minute left, pinning their horrible offense deep gives them about no chance to score. Had we missed a long field goal they were one play away from a field goal making it a one score game (14-6). We received the ball after the half so no need to be aggressive vs. those scrubs in taht situation

Everything is different about Ron Rivera. Fired up on the sideline late in games with the win in hand. Him and Shula being more aggressive. Shula letting Cam do his thing.

Just need to see how we do in close games against good teams. Would love to see us come from behind in the 4th quarter and win a game, and also only be up by like 2 going into the 4th quarter and win a game. Need to see the team pull these out before I feel like Rivera can coach here another year. Blowing out these ****ty teams is great, and we're doing what we should against them, but need to see a larger resume.

This, couldn't agree more

I see no reason why he shouldn't get another year if he can perform against NE, NO x2, SF. You can't get a much harder test than that.

This is coming from probably the biggest Rivera hater on this forum. I see some folks saying "but if we make the playoffs it's another year!" uhh who gives a shiit. If Rivera can make the playoffs with 4 games against 3 of the top 3-5 teams in the NFL remaining, I WANT him back for another year.

Human nature makes people think "once a bad coach, always a bad coach". I've hated on him a lot, too. Well deserved. But Pete Carroll got his **** together after failing miserably. Maybe Ron Rivera will, as well.

Trying to think of other coaches who struggled in the NFL then went on to become successful. None come to mind, though.

Cam has a career high in completion percentage and qb rating by far this year. His YPA is on par with his career averages (which is almost top 5 all time). His yardage is a bit down but I think that's mostly due to the defense being better and them not having to sling it nearly as much. Granted, the other efficiency could come from this fact also.

Either way he's having a helluva season and this is with a couple of duds early on in this small sample. Beast.

Cam is playing at such a high level, his ceiling is incredible. The scary part is that he's doing all of this without a great receiving core. Lets be honest, I love Smitty to death and he will always be my GOAT panther and probably everyone elses but he's not a top 10, possibly top 15 receiver anymore. Lafell is at best a WR3..decent all around but doesn't have a particular dominating ability(size/speed/hands/power)…and we are well aware of Ginns limitations. Olsen is a solid tight end but has been dropping alot of big plays this year. Despite this and a injured o-line, Cam is unbelievable. I can't imagine him with real weapons.

There was a time when he was a nice third option but acl injuries have taken away from his game, still a smart player with good hands.

If he stays healthy you guys got a steal there. I was really sad to see him go but it was what was best for both sides. He deserved a starting role and he wasn't going to get that over Kuechly. That and his contract prohibited him from being cost effective for us at any other position. Was one of my favorite Panthers so congrats on landing him.

Big game today. No reason why we shouldn't be able to stomp the falcons and push ourselves into even better position for wild card!

awesome game, JStew came back looking strong as well. Offense played ugly for the most part but our D holds up time and time again. At 5-3 we not only made a better case for wild card, we are in contention for conference with the 6-2 saints.

game would have been over sooner if we didn't throw hail mary passes on 3rd and 3. playcalling was a little too aggressive today, especially since cam was off. but i'm happy with the win regardless. next week should be fun!!!

Fixed that for ya. Rest of the offense played great today, but Cam was off on a lot of throws. And at the same time, made some tremendous plays. That play where he escaped two sacks and then juked another defender to throw for a first down on like 3rd and 12 was ridiculous.

Can't believe the complete 180 Rivera took this season. It's night and day different how he's calling games, handling the players, etc.

Obviously a defense that is among the best in the NFL is gonna help, but he is a part of building it.

Amazing how everything is coming together just as we're getting out of the mess Hurney created. We'll be able to hold this defense together for a while and Cam is the only guy on offense up for a deal soon(I think, could be wrong here) that I'm worried about keeping.

I said if we got to 5-3 I'd be a full on believer. I'm totally there. Not saying I think we'll make the playoffs because the Lions have a cakewalk to get there compared to us, but I'm totally in for a 10-6 season. The defense is straight beast and the offense can hold the ball like crazy. Don't like how Cam played, but the fact they blew out the Falcons in spite of Cam's bad day makes me feel really good. Also like that Cam didn't implode after the 2 terrible picks.

Went into the 4th quarter a close game, ended up a blowout.

next 2 weeks against 9ers and Pats are huge. if we can split that at the worst and go into the Dolphins game at 6-4 we'll be right there in December when we have been playing our best over the past 2 years

Cam did have a off game, he made some very poor choices throwing the ball…hail marys on 3rd and less than 5 and the play at the end of the half where we were in FG range and he chucked one for a td that ended up intercepted. I thought our play calling was more stagnant than it has been over the last few weeks. I would have liked to have seen the option once or twice this week and other than cams td run there wasn't very many good designed run plays for cam. The 4th and 1 bootleg pass was hnggggggggg though.

edit: our RB group is looking good. I think that now that Jstew is back it will make Dwill more competitive.

Our defense is so damn good. Glad to see us have some grit as a team and push through with a large win while Cam's having a bad day. Really excited for the game next week. It will be a huge test for us but I have a feeling we will come out looking sharp and give the niners hell.
