Yeah I feel you on his writing style and it does get repetitive, luckily his column is only for the NFL season and it is only once a week.

He also kills me when he points out government failures / wastefullness, or how this republican or democrat has screwed up, and then in the very next paragraph calls for the government to DO SOMETHING or have more power given to them. I have actually pointed out this criticism to him via e-mail and have never received any sort of response. Oh well, he is not perfect, but he is interesting.

Edit - I also find his knowledge of / and thoughts on space very insightful.

LOL. when i graduated highschool my parents bought me tickets to the panthers-steelers game in carolina and we caught a bobcats game the night before….it was pathetic, there were seriously only like 200 people there, i feel like i could have suited up and played just as well as the bobcats.

then carolina lost 43-3 the next day. i've been to 2 other panther games (last 2 years @ bears)…it was really fun getting the living shyt harassed out of me on the way out of soldier field after infamous 4th quarter giveaways.

some day i will see the panthers win in person….some day…

Bobcats top 20 in attendance last year, and sold out all season tickets this year.

Yes I get offended when a fan say our secondary is going to get torched by Eli.

That really rustles my jimmies.

That we can all agree on.

Regarding fair-weatheredness:

Admittedly being a Panthers during the LAST FIVE SEASONS has been a soul-sucking experience. I was there for the 13-33 Cardinals playoff game and STAYED UNTIL THE BITTER PHUCKING END. And we haven't done jack since then until now, and that was after another crappy start.

So, in the case of the Panthers, I don't view being critical of the team as being a fair weather fan. Not at all. Quite frankly the players, coaches, and management have earned some criticism with their performances since 2008.

Jimmy Clausen ………..I hate him almost as much as John Kasay…….almost………ok it not even remotely close. Clausen will always be a bust that did nothing. Kasay will always be the ****er that cost us the superbowl. Never Forget, Never Forgive.

The Kasay thing is meh. Huge mistake of course, it was still a tie game and the defense should have been able to stop them with only a minute left.

And looking forward to the game Sunday. You guys have a great team, nervous to see how the niners look vs that awesome defense and whether niners D can contain Cam.

Tie game, 1 min left, he kicked the kickoff out of bounds. Pats drove 35-40 yards yards and won the game on a field goal.

I would say our defense giving up almost 500 yards, and the Patriots fuking cheating cost us the game just as much as Kasay kicking the ball out of bounds. Me, that's just.
