And there were legitimate struggles we faced. If they didn't have food they'd die. So every sloot had to forage and every man to hunt. Now we've got social welfare and a million other people you'll never meet working so it makes you redundant.


It's only going to get worse. We solved all our problems now we're perpetually bored/lost.

I predict a VERY, VERY interesting next 50 years. One that will shape the course of human kind or just outright end us all.

Thats not the point though.

Whether someone lives by the first or second choice doesnt matter at all. There is no inherent point to life, and how you choose to live it doesnt affect that. The person making the most out of life can still realize there is no point to it, and continue their lifestyle
