The Jets capacity is so high because in October they held an outdoor game in a stadium with almost twice as many seats, so it skews the data quite a bit.

There's a waiting list for season tickets for the Minnesota wild. Believe the average wait is 2-3 seasons.

Brb barely a soul plays lame ass basketball here. We play baseball in summer and its legit a huge sport across canada. Cfl footballs big but basically hockies red headed step child.

Anyways to answer the question OP, America is a Baseball/Football country

Hockey is a niche sport

I live in a cold weather area and hockey is popular relative to other areas of the nation but it still takes a backseat to the local MLB and NFL teams

Most hockey fans I meet irl are cool though, much more tolerable than football fans

Online a lot of them are insecure *******s like LordTreBuH. HFBoards is a cesspit of people like him

I am from canada so its number 1 here.


i never understood how parents can afford to let there kids play hockey. I tried to sign up when I was a little kid but it was waaaay to expensive. You had to buy all the equipment plus you grow out of it really quickly. So expensive to play. On top breaking sticks and membership fees. how do parents afford it ?
