They're asking people to call the Coast Guard if they need help. 911 is inundated.

Here's the local ABC news station that I had been watching for more than 24 hours straight. Live stream

http://abc13.com/live/

Finally slept last night and we have managed to make it okay so far. This is breaking all kinds of records and am glad it is actually news outside of Texas. Usually feels like we're all alone when stuff happens.

those packs of water are at home depot, i'm sick of seeing the same pics. Home depot charges like $2 for a single, they don't sell them by the pack. People kept coming in buying dozens of bottles so they just left them in the pack for easy carrying. It's not price gouging. Now, i'm sure there are some slimy gas stations gouging prices on gas etc, but the pics that keep going around are not illegal

Before you all hate I've heard that economically it helps people when prices go up like that..... Allows more people to buy one water VS one person stocking up. Makes it less likely they will run out. Idk how true it is.

I'm donating blood Wednesday at a local drive, I can't remember if it's Red Cross, bump anyway and I'll throw some reps at anyone else who donates blood and posts a pic of themself doing it(or right after if camera not allowed in
Donation area)

Donate every 4-6 months, had just donated in my avi, blood is something we all make plenty of brahs, and it could save a life.

To a degree perhaps, but it's still illegal to charge $45 for a case of water or $9 for gas.

Read an article today that those caught price gauging can face up to a $25000 fine per offense

Only the gas and top water pictures are price gouging. The bottom 2 water pictures are repackaging, so those aren't illegal or too bad. The person selling the $42.72 water used $1.50 singles to make a 24 pack, so they only make $6.72 on selling that. The above Dasani pack also appears to be a repackaging, but no idea about their price being so much lower than the bottom. Always nice to have some perspective, guys.
