Thats a fan theory, not canon.

For one, Lucas isnt exactly subtle, so he would have shown it to the audience. Two, Palpatine didnt heal Anakin, he stayed alive via his own Force powers until Palpatine got to Mustafar, then he got fused into his suit without any anesthesia because pain and rage and Dark Side.

The script was just that bad.

They need to not make a kids movie and make a rated R Star Wars.

I highly doubt Disney would do it because they won't miss out on making money off of a stupid doll or children's toys and costumes but they should make a dark star wars movie with proper action scenes.

I have no hope for any future Star Wars movies or shows. The fact that Kathleen Kennedy is still leading the studio tells you everything you need to know.

The originals are okay and I think we all like them more then they deserve because of nostalgia but even they aren't that good. Then the prequels came in and most people hated them and there were a lot of really bad decisions made. Then the sequels came and they were way worse then the previous 6. They've been getting worse and worse even when we don't think it's possible. We probably all like the originals so much because of how bad the prequels were and like those because of how bad the sequels are.

Brb promotes the movie as the end of the Skywalker saga but has the main character declare herself a Skywalker at the end......What's wrong with that picture?

They need to just let this franchise rest in piece. They butchered it with the new trilogy. JJ tried to salvage it with RoS, but failed. RoS may have stood a chance if they ditched Kennedy, and split the film into two movies. My biggest critique of the film was that it was insanely rushed.

Honestly this doesn't make me feel much better, Lucas' original plan for a new trilogy was straight up weird. He wanted to make movies about microbes who control the Force.

That said, if Lucas had a little control of this last trilogy I think we could have escaped some of the horrendous things that happened (Luke's death for example).

Unfortunately as a lifelong fan who has read many of the EU books, I no longer really care anymore. This last trilogy, and specifically TLJ, killed it for me.

let's be real, this series was butchered in 1999.

There has been one semi-decent movie in 20 years (The Force Awakens was watchable). This series is living off the reputation of 1977, 1980, and 1983 movies. It's time to just focus on its strengths (Mandalorian) and not do a movie for at least 10+ years.
