Condone what he did? **** yeah I do. Those kids aren't ever going to victimize anyone else. He shot two repeated burglars and killed them. I don't care that he did it in a way that doesn't look pretty. Violence doesn't look pretty in general. The fact is those two were likely dead/going to die from the initial salvos. The headshots were mercy killings.


What do you think about this scenario? Homeowner chases home invaders. They're FLEEING and no longer a clear and present danger. Should he be charged with attempt murder? Same concept applies. They are no longer a clear and present danger, why shoot your gun?

The thing is, if he had simply shot them to death that'd be one thing. He did record them while injured, taunting them - the audio was posted ITT.

I'm 100% on castle doctrine as my posts show, but this goes further than that - significantly.

I think the initial shootings were justified. I have no problem with ambushing an intruder either. Eliminate the threat before they have a chance to eliminate you. But this guy had zero common sense and went about this so fukkin stupidly.

Bottom line is it means fuk all what our opinions are. A jury found him guilty, judges upheld the verdict, and now he's lost his freedom, his home, and will die in prison.

They had burglarized his home several times over the course of several months prior to him doing it.

If you were in your 60's living alone and had your home burglarized numerous times over the course of months, you're telling us you can guarantee some super cool-headed solution to the problem on your end?

Again, these teens broke in and burglarized him like 4 or 5 times over a matter of a few months, and clearly had zero intention of stopping. Was he just supposed to live like that forever until they finally left him alone out of the goodness of their hearts, or what?

Seems like the execution part was the deciding factor for the bleeding heart jury. He should've beaten them to within an inch of their lives and left it at that. He didn't help himself by having cameras which showed him moving his truck in anticipation for another break in. Should've turned them off and blasted them both multiple times while they were standing up rather than executing them later then not reporting it until the next day. Anyone with a brain or has seen a few crime reviews/shows knows that a coroner is gonna know exactly how long a body has been rotting. REGARDLESS OF GUILT......ANY JURY IS GOING TO BE FULL OF EMOTIONALPHAGGOTS SO HAVING A RECORDING OF THE ACTUAL AUDIO FROM THE KILLINGS DEFINITELY ISN'T A GOOD IDEA LMFAO

Yes his house was burglarized but his life wasn’t in any danger especially after he incapacitated them or he SHOULD HAVE shot them immediately instead of toying and talking chit to them before murdering them and laughing while he did it lol . From there he’s supposed to let the authorities take control, not murder them in cold blood.

That's not at all how the story actually happened, and it's grossly oversimplying how they burglarized that man's house numerous times for months. There's a reason the locals of that area almost unamiously feel bad for the old guy and think he got screwed.
