Dem Sen majority leader Chuck Schumer & Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson led a "No Ceasefire" chant at a pro-Israel rally recently. It's cute you think there is a difference in either party lol

Again.. it'sYOUidiots that are making that claim. No Dem comes into a thread and argues that minorities are too stupid for anything -TRUMPERS DO.

So yes I agree.. implying minorities are too stupid for anything is moronic. Right along with the stupid mandatory racist "plantation" comments that always follows. You don't get to make the racist comments and then claim it was the left who actually did it.

We've been through this moron. I take breaks ALL the time.. if you have to resort to "stay away" as your solution to YOU *******s ruining this forum then you can just fist yourself.

Almost every state has qualifications to appear on the ballot. Whether it is a fee, certain amount of signatures, etc.

Please explain to the audience Krakhead why Kanye West didn’t appear on the ballot in numerous states in 2020. I’ll wait.

Those are not qualifications.

I imagine he's working up some convoluted semantic argument about how being disqualified for not meeting requirements is totally different than being disqualified for not meeting qualifications.

Stop strawmanning my post and read the rest of the post. I made a point, gave examples, and processes, but you chose to ignore it all to create a straw man and using a definition to change the argument in your favor, another logical fallacy. It's not clever, it's dishonest and unintelligent

Seatard nailed it. Krakhead can’t answer the question and went on a convoluted rant to avoid answering it.

You rarely make any fukking sense tho, missing the forest for the trees.
So the states are using the 14th amendment to say “He’s disqualified because of an insurrection”, but they cannot DQ him at a state level. It must come from the Supreme Court and/or congress, because this extends passed the constitutional authority of the states.
The process begins by an authority with jurisdiction, in this case the Maine SOS, making a determination. It was immediately then put on a path through the courts so it can reach a final determination at the federal level. Congress or the SC would never be prodded to take up the issue unless it was initiated at a lower level.

It’s amazing the “state’s rights” advocates are now arguing against states making determinations about their own balloting process.

We should just completely federalize it if they want to make it the same across the board. But they aren’t arguing in good faith. It’s only because it involves their Fat Orange Daddy.

Let's try to make this more clear; anything in the constitution pertains to the federal government, and restraint of what the government can and cannot do. If it is not in the constitution, then it becomes state, and not federal. The contradiction is that the states are using the constitution to make their arguments, but this is not a state issue because it is specifically written in the constitution, which makes it a federal issue.

In other words, a state cannot make a decision that takes away the rights, or goes against the will of the rest of the nation. If a decision affects people outside of the state, then it is not a state issue. This is why the constitution was written, and it is unconstitutional for states to make this decision for the rest of the nation.

This is constitutional law 101, but it is amazing how many brain dead people who have no concept of basic constitutional law, or adamant they are right. This is also an indication of just how extremist these states have become. A state that takes away the voting right of at least half the nation, would be considered a dictatorship
