Another thing I've noticed is that almost EVERY establishment I visit there seems to be severe understaffing. Where did all the workers go?

Back in the day you could visit a store and see multiple employees walking around and asking you if you need help. Now you walk into a shop and you only see maybe one or two cashiers. No one asks if you need help anymore, and often times they don't even greet you. I went into a Burger King the other day and there were 3 employees in the whole establishment, during lunch hour. Starbucks the same deal.

A few years ago we'd see like 12 employees working at the same time at these spots. So all these people stopped working and are just shopping, going to the gym, walking their dogs at the park, and going grocery shopping every single day?

EOD isn’t wrong, streets and stores are packed constantly all day every day now

My woman is always “how are there so many people here right now?!” and I always remind her that nobody works anymore

WFH? Please, most fukers are getting laid off and requiring to be back in the office. Thinking that shiit will last is laughable.

And mirin that vette, basically the same one except mine is in silver.

Truthfully, I was going to make a similar thread days ago.

Tons of people everywhere eating out, sitting at starbucks happily talking. Walking around. Tons of fuking cars on the road.

I know it's all illusion for sure when you know people are in massive debt and probably like 5 months into the eviction phase.

I'm shocked at how literally every drive through restaurant is SLAMMED at all hours of the day now. How are all these people eating fast food so often? Starbucks and chik fil A lines are around the block. My coworker brings his wife and kids to work almost daily and I kid you not, they order fast food via uberats/door dash THREE TIMES A DAY. McDonald's and chik fil A on a daily basis for these kids. How are people keeping this up?

Well from what my sister sees as she handles accounting for the company she works for. Most of the people at her work make up to 60K-70k+. Part about that is everyone talks to her about their personal life. She finds out that nearly all of them are renting because they can't afford a mortgage, why that is? They eat out nearly every day, buy cards they can't afford, go on vacations a lot and have kids they obviously can't afford.

I see that in neighbors that I have and even my parent's renters. They have a high end car and truck, goes on vacation a lot, eats out a lot, etc. Yet, they are late on the rent by like 3 weeks, can't afford the simple utilities that they are supposed to cover.

Nobody i know cooks or preps food anymore. They are eating out 2-4x per day including a daily trip to Starbucks. Idk what is going on but it's been happening for about 2-3 years at this point.

Oh let me guess, another employee using the typical talking points as usual right? Oh, but I deserve my 70K for working 7 hours a week and demand my benefits and my vacation time.

Look at all your posts, not a single one has any merit that you WFH. Makes me think you suck off the government tits acting like you WFH.

The labor force participation rate hasn't fallen much since the mid 2010s. The main difference with now compared to 2019 is that people have more flexibility with their schedules now and can do things in the middle of the day.

JFL. Is 70K a big deal? Seems like you're the one that's a broke leech since you're making 70K seem like a big deal. That's like an entry level salary these days.

Probably a tradie that does back breaking work for 50K and is pissed off that WFH-cels are making double/triple his poverty salary.

Lmfao another BS post by as usual.

Obviously that is evident by the tech worker installing printers. But keep coping thinking that shiit will last, you can't even predict what tomorrow will happen.

Dumbass thinking you actually have fuking leverage.

FYI, I don't do tradie work but no tradies that make more than you tech, soycels. They actually benefit and are useful society, not tech laden women that the tech sector is often filled with.

Guess when you have test levels of a 70 year old grandma like yourself is akin to do that.

The whole town is out now spending like it's 1999 though. None of it adds up. I only know two people who work from home and they can't do this.

Somewhat related, I almost had to leave the gym today too because the hottest girl I’d ever seen in my town was doing squats wearing barely nothing and kept bending over and putting her firm perfect asss all out on display just asking to be raped right there on the spot. Sweet mother of god

This

I estimate around 40% of the workers were released during covid years and the other people are making bank on social media. Obviously some are retired or work from home but there's no way it's more than the former.

I walked into Target recently and i only saw like 2 employees. There was nobody anywhere except at the front of the store.

1 of 2 24 hour fitness gyms near my area. It's always cars just like the pic you showed, and dudes will roll 3-4 deep ALL FOR UPPER BODY. I've yet to see 3-4 heads at the rack getting in tha reps or deadlifting. Went to do upper body one time in the evening, but everything was taken. Just did cardio and bounced.

Goat tier time to go to the gym is 12am-4am. obv not everybody can hit those times, but it's the most empty of course.

4pm-8pm is trash tier. This where you got 3 people on one machine, the most tripods being set up, etc

How do people pay rent, buy food, buy gas, pay car insurance, etc. without working?

When I've had days off during the week I notice that it's super crowded at 2pm, for instance.

Even with that I have so many meetings and questions to answer during business hours that I can't just leave at 10am for an hour. Just lol at how people outside of tech work. I worked from home but I was online 8am to 7pm.
