Ah yes but the way the defenses were playing in the 4th quarter I'm not sure the 20 extra yards would've mattered. Besides if he doesnt' kick that 50 yard field goal earlier Pats wouldn't even need the last minute FG. Can't blame him for that loss at all imo.

Kasay obviously wasn't 100% responsible for the loss. but he was the dagger the ended it.

Kasay joining the Saints hurt far worse than his OOB kick. As iamgenus said Brady probably would have Brady'd us anyways given how the defense was playing.

..but to see an all time GOAT Panther join prob our most hated rival.. ugh.

You are aware that the PANTHERS released Kasay? It wasn't his decision at all, he just wanted to keep playing football. No harm there.

Don't think anyone really blamed Kasey or was mad at him.

I am going to the game this Sunday (49er fan) and I am of course hoping my team wins, but you guys are playing really well this year. You guys are the best team we have played in a while so it will be tough. Pretty much a team that looks just like us…

Appreciate the sportsmanship. This one will be a defensive battle and whoever wins in turnovers will probably win.

Niners are gettin Aldon Smith AND Mario Manningham back for Sunday's game.

I'm more worried bout their passing game. Than us stopping the run.

Told my Dad I thought we could go 2-2 in our 4 with Saints, Pats, 49ers. Great start. 100% on board for a 10-6 or 11-5 year.

this win was huge, not just that we beat san fran. but chicago and green bay lost so we have a game on them in the wildcard spot, if we even need the wildcard at the end.

Our defense is just straight nasty. Fuk, I hope we can keep Rivera (meaning we won enough and made playoffs), because him and McDermott have built the best D in the NFL.

Short of an absolute collapse they're not going to fire Rivera. No way.

biggest play of the game to me was that laser to Steve Smith with about 2 minutes left on third down.

Took just enough time off the clock.

Was really impressed that we were able to win despite our offense playing so bad for a lot of the games and a ton of mental (and unlucky) errors.

Give some credit to Gano for that 53 yarder. It feels good to have a reliable kicker who can kick long range.
