This is actually pretty common. More experienced people typically have lost some of the fear and are overly sure of there abilities and more likely to attempt something that could likely kill them

I couldn't even make jokes about the stupidity of this because of how terrible it is for the sister. That's honestly one of the most horrible things you could ever see.. do you guys have any idea what she watched? I doubt she ran away, she was probably shocked and scared, screaming, while her own brother boiled and melted to death. I feel sick typing it. That's worse than most Game of Thrones deaths.

Poor girlI couldn't imagine.

This is actually pretty normal. Same way that most work-related accidents happen during routine jobs. People get used to the danger and eventually neglect it. It's much more common to lose a finger if you have a routine to cut wood as opposed to someone who cuts wood every now and then and follows all the safety guidelines

The guy was from portland so you would think he would have more respect for nature then to go off the path like that. what an idiot.

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. Came to post this. Seriously disappointed at a lot of the responses.

It's easy to point and say that the guy is a dumbass, win stupid prizes, Darwin Award, etc., he deserved to die but think for a moment if it had been someone you cared deeply about. What if it's your brother, your sister, your mom, dad? Are you going to say "Well, they are dumb and it's their fault so it's good they're dead.", or are you going to understand that a momentary lapse in reason (apparently miscers don't have these) led to a tragic and permanent loss?

That family will never get to talk to their brother and son again. He'll never get to hang with his bros and spot them at the gym again. Have some goddam empathy and realize that this is a real situation that will dramatically alter the lives of real people.

I used to have to deal with these people and one lady once asked what time the park lets the animals out. I Bert stared her because I couldn't believe she thought the animals actually got rounded up in a park bigger than the state she just came from.

If anything, people, generally those from the east coast are straight up retarded

Tragic events suck we know. Especially the kind where someone is there one second and gone the next. But that doesn't excuse him. Just because someone dies doesn't negate their dumb actions. He doesn't deserve to die but am I surprised it happened after reading what he did? Not at all. I know from my parents when they went that signs are everywhere, staff warn you, and its pretty obvious just looking at the ground that its not smart to step on it. Even with all these warnings people still do dumb chit. All those signs don't stop people trying to take selfies with wild animals. Am I supposed to feel bad for a person after getting gored because they wanted a selfie?

Sucks for the guy and the family who I do feel bad for. But his actions led to his death.

Does anybody know what kind of acid it is?

Saying its acidic is basically saying that it donates a hydrogen proton. What kind of acid is it? Molarity? @xavengedx23
