LOL at spending $1,500 to go to someone's second wedding. 70% chance they get divorced. On top of that, the bride is trying to stick you with a bunch of expenses you're not going to be able to collect on.

You're being treated more like a wallet than a longtime valued friend. I would flat out tell him it was too expensive for you. If you had known about all the expenses before hand, you wouldn't have agreed. Then end it with telling him you're not coming.

I have a 40 year old friend who stood as a groomsman at11weddings...10of them are now divorced.

The most hilarious part: this same 40 year old friend got married even after the mounting evidence he witnessed of divorce.

Dude I've had friends like that who would pull some real bitch **** on me and I ended up just going no contact on them. There's nothing worse than having a guyfriend. For 1500 dollars his wife better jump out of the wedding cake in my hotel room and give me a lap dance and touch my peepee and she better be hot too, otherwise, no deal.

How many of your friends and males you've met are bitchmade betas though? Add in the factor they are brainwashed by society to think marriage = happiness when it's literally the opposite. (They will all have a story about how their girl is the Unicorn, fret not)

Every guy I know aside from maybe a couple have this fantastical, mystic delusion of love, marriage and children. It was charming when I was like, 22. But now I'm just baffled by them.

I don't even. He's never been the type to mooch off of someone or anything like that, he's always had good character. Is it possible this new woman is pushing him into this nonsense?

If it is, there's the problem. She wants all of this extravagant stuff that they can't afford and they're using you and everyone else's money to help pay for it.
