This is one reboot I want to see.
The Matrix universe is so fukkin strong, brb mythos already laid out, brb awesome high concept, brb excuses for slo-mo ninja wuxia **** everywhere. But it has the most disappointing sequels ever made. If 2 and 3 had build on 1, it could have been the next Star Wars. But those tranny ****ers ****ed everything up.
This is the Matrix getting the fresh start it deserves and needs.
It's not like Terminator where all the conflicts pretty much played out in 2 movies. There's places for this movie to go, they could build a fukkin franchise. And even if the story ****s the bed like Reloaded did, we should least get a cool action movie out of the bargain.

They even had Dr Cornell West as a lead on the council in zion, and he did the commentary on the boxset (along with Ken Wilber).
In the original BattleStar Galactica Commander Adama was a white guy. In the remake he was a minority. Did anyone complain about that?
I think Battlestar Galactica was a good example of another TV series, that the alt-right/misc would hate if it was released today.Men and women are in equal military roles, (my favorite character) Admiral Kane was a woman - in a gay relationship, Starbuck was a loved and key lead character, the president was a woman, EJO was hispanic, etc.

I thought at the end of the movie the creator (bad white man) pretty much said that their universe wasn't the first one to make it to that point and that there were thousands of other iterations of Neo going the exact same path. Maybe this reboot is going to address that and finally break away from the original path Neo too each time?

On the other hand, there have been many other movies and TV series that have made racial views very clearly. Star Trek for example (esp. 1960s), was very popular for making those types of comparisons.

This is ridiculous. As many others said, no original ideas in Hollywood anymore. The original Matrix was amazing.

Take any major franchise that originally starred a white guy, switch the main protagonist with a different race and you're playing the sjw agenda. But you're black so I see why you're so adamant to disagree with me on that point

Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/films/201...oot-or-remake/
1. Splash (1984) Channing Tatum is the mermaid? well could work, though neckbeards will rage because of the genderswap
2. Mary Poppins (1964) Why not, it's really old?
7. An American Werewolf in London (1981) the original had a cool ideas and a poppy soundtrack like it's hip nowadays, but terrible special effect
9. Jumanji (1995) special effects were pretty good, but still have not aged that well
11. All Quiet on the Western Front (1930) only read the book, a modern adaption could work, not shure if modern audiences could handle all alegories to classic German moral philosophy though
18. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989) could fit in with movies like Guardians of the Galaxy nowadyas, could work if done well
20. IT (1990) original is beloved but had a really low budget, they could do something with IT
Those seem like a dumb idea to me:
4. Wargames (1983) They will have to rewrite the entire thing due to how much the internet progressed, just make an entirely new movie
5. Commando (1985) It's a cheesy but cool action movie, just make a different cheesy but cool action movie
23. The Birds (1963) lol no
15. Honey I Shrunk The Kids (1989) original was kinda bad, remake will likely be better, but still lame
16. Police Academy (1984) Aren't their more than enough police academy films already?
19. Three Men and a Baby (1987) original sucked, remake will likely be better but still boring
Got no clue about these:
3. The Craft (1996) Haven't watched
6. Overboard (1987) dunno the oringinal
8. Wild Bunch (1969) dunno the original
10. Logan's Run (1976) dunno the original
12. Porky's (1982) haven't watched
13. Drop Dead Fred (1991) haven't watched

Don't believe this for a second but then I went to see Logan the other day and I think half the trailers were reboots. The other half looked like cheesy Hollywood ****e. Future of films is bleak.
